This talented musician and singer-songwriter is the grandson of the Gormenghast series author Mervyn Peake. A contemporary of Adele and The Maccabees, Londoner Jack Peñate released his first single in 2006 and has performed at Reading, on the Later… with Jools Holland show and at The Roundhouse in Camden. He has some 30,000 followers on Twitter despite having not used the medium since February 2013 and his music has been described as having a “sizzle [that] can still be subtle”.
