Best known for his stunning window displays for Hermès and Ralph Lauren, Charlie Baker was born in New York’s Upper East Side and educated at Taft School and Washington & Lee University. This talented son of a landscape architect and a fine art and fashion photographer studied at the New York Botanical Garden and now takes his inspiration from the “juxtaposition of the natural and the industrial”. Charlie Baker featured on Gotham Magazine’s ‘Most Eligible Bachelors List’ in 2014 and is said to love stand-up comedy.

I’d happily take this lovely man off the bachelors list.
A very good choice Steeples Times. I like it when you feature up and coming artists. I’d never heard of him but looking through his website is a revelation. He is an artist of the future – reusing materials and seizing the opportunity to make new things most people would throw away. Sheer brilliance and from the interviews I’ve read, he also seems very modest.
I hear the Hobbits are head over heels about Charlie Bakers work. 🙂
