Gina Miller’s victory at the High Court yesterday was truly epic
Acres of column inches today attack Gina Miller as an “enemy of people”, a “traitor” and a “filthy remain snake”. These gutter press titles and the trolls of Twitter are wrong and we at The Steeple Times instead join those celebrating the fact that this successful crusader has helped ensure Britain does not plunge into a black hole at the behest of the worst Prime Minister in a generation.
Gina Miller and her legal team have not “usurped the will of the British people”. They’ve simply mindfully pointed out that Article 50 needs to be followed correctly and rightfully reminded the nation that it is parliament and not Mrs May who should invoke the process of Brexit.

I agree Matthew. Gina is a very courageous woman and doesn’t deserve this flack. As she says, its about process not politics. Not about changing the vote. The referendum is not binding in law anyway, and neither side mentioned this little fact during the campaign. Both sides were dishonest and obtuse, and what is needed is a considered approach. Perhaps that is something they should have written large on the side of the bus. It would have been the one truth in a sea of hypotheticals..
Also, there were others who brought the case as well. The media have just picked on Gina.
As brextier I was till after 30 seconds of the referendum results and after read some nice articles on this blog I realised the amount of lies told to us. No let’s see what’s come up from yesterday. Worst we are can not be. Pound is week. Us immigrants don’t know what to do regarding our visa status in the future. Let’s only pray May will not go forward agains the tribunal orders.
