Owned previously by the publisher Richard Webb, Wixels, was bought by architect Triff Lambert and his wife Mary in 1993 as their retirement home. Following Mr Lambert’s death, the house is now being offered by Knight Frank at a price of £3.5 million ($4.3 million, €3.9 million or درهم15.9 million).

Quite busy decor, isn’t it? Is that staging or actually the owner’s taste? I’ve set my heart on the converted London church Matthew mentioned last week, so I’ll give this one a pass.
