Largest contiguous ranch in America for sale for £473 million
Americans don’t do things by halves and the 510,527-acre W. T. Waggoner Estate Ranch in Texas is no exception. It is on the market for the equally impressive sum of £473 million ($725 million) through Sotheby’s International Realty.

Covering some 800 square miles and owned by the same family since 1849, the property includes 30,000 acres of cultivated farmland and 1,000 producing oil wells. There are also 20 cowboy camps “scattered throughout the property”, two owner’s compounds and lakes ranging in size from 1,000 to 16,000 surface acres.
