Maserati originally owned by Sir Elton John to be auctioned
In 2005, Sir Elton John purchased a new 4.2-litre Maserati Quattroporte V for £80,000. He sold the car in 2010 and now that vehicle is to be auctioned by Classic Car Auctions for just £15,000 to £17,000.

Of the car, auctioneer Arwel Richards cheesily commented:

The guide doesn’t seem to have been adjusted given its owner. It’ll be interesting to see what it goes for.
I’ve driven a Quattroporte and enjoyed it very much. A great car.
The Quattroporte has always been the province of the rich cognoscenti
