Here is a wastrel-not-even-a-woman with a brain so clearly stir-fried that it wouldn’t even have interested Jeffrey Dahmer to experiment with. Here also is a monster whose wicked words about the sixteen, yes sixteen, innocent victims the father of her child mercilessly hurled acid all over in 2017 in a London nightclub illustrates her as nothing but a noxious narcissistic.
Now, yesterday, thinking that the scandal of her vicious voice notes – featured in The Steeple Times last week and to which one victim of her evil ex-lover Arthur Collins responded: “Thank you for showing her for what she truly is; evil” – ‘Cheshire Cat-like’ Miss McCann was pictured in the MailOnline in what someone named Kenzi Devine pathetically promoted as a “picture exclusive.”
Of a “victim shaming” disgrace who shockingly called out one of Collins’ victims simply as a “silly b*tch,” Devine enthused that McCann “appeared in high spirits” as “she enjoyed a stroll around Essex.” Going further, this supposed ‘showbiz reporter’ toadily observed: “The former TOWIE [‘The Only Way Is Essex’] star, 32, flashed a grin while wrapping an arm around her other half’s neck and giving him a loving gaze, opting for a bare-faced look while heading to her local shops.”
Instead of calling out these clearly planned and posed for pictures of someone who excused an acid attack that wrecked the lives of sixteen innocent people, Devine turned her ‘feature’ into a fashion parade and continued:
“Heading out this weekend, Ferne kept comfortable in a pair of dark brown leggings and a light grey, quarter-zip sweater. She added a pair of colourful trainers with white crew socks over the athleisure, which had the word ‘ugh’ stitched into the ankle in black.”
“Ferne kept close to Lorri, who showed off his large collection of leg tattoos with a pair of black sport shorts, a long-sleeved black top and grey Nike gilet.”
“They appeared to be enjoying the trip out, sharing a laugh as the former TOWIE star leaned in close to her man and wrapped around his neck.”
Frankly, Kenzi Devine should be ashamed of herself for writing what should only be referenced as ‘dire drivel’ and rightly last night, the nemesis of Ferne McCann that is ‘Lady Whistledown’ came back at the TV twerp and told her Instagram followers:
“I think everyone should email a complaint to ITV about [Ferne McCann’s] behaviour. This woman has been given a huge platform influencing the younger generation and by the looks of it ITV are condoning this woman fat shaming and now using derogatry words to a poor, innocent victim who has been through enough.”
Today, we echo these sentiments and urge readers to email [email protected] to offer condemnation of this sicker-than-sick shameless piece of toxic toerag. Self-declared “Northerner that says it how it is” Darren Grimes fits into the same category as Tom Harwood, Owen Jones and Omid Scobie in terms of being considered utterly irksome. With his nasty nasal twang and a Priti Patel-like use of language when he’s “scramblin’,” “wavin’” and “invadin’,” here is a tedious twerp who made even right-wing viewers of GB News turn off.
Now “abruptly cancelled” – according to Wikipedia – by GB News, Liberal Democrat turned right-wing Brexiteer Grimes took to Twitter on 4th November and declared:
“Sadly, my GB News show, Real Britain, is ending in a few weeks. I want to make its last few episodes on air the best of all. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to those who have loyally tuned in and supported me and the channel – it has been the greatest ride of my life!”
Responding on the social media network, most were unsympathetic of the plight of this County Durham born 29-year-old. One observed that GB News had “caused distress to his one viewer” whilst another added: “Good riddance to @Darren_Grimes: A vile racist and sh*t stirrer. May they all tumble, one after the other.”
Whilst Christine Hamilton proved herself a lone voice of support in stating: “You will be much missed” and adding “you will succeed whatever,” the cancellation of the founder of the since disgraced BeLeave campaign is something that has unsurprisingly been widely celebrated. It is now simply time for something else and that is to banish dimwitted Darren Grimes to Siberia for once and for all.

Michael Barrymore shows no contrition in the wake of the 21st anniversary of the rape-murder of Stuart Lubbock at his home and instead shamelessly returns to TikTok for yet more personal profiteering
Disgraced ‘entertainer’ Michael Barrymore – a man who admits to knowing something but still says nothing that could help bring justice after the 2001 rape and murder of Stuart Lubbock at his Roydon, Essex bungalow – has had an astonishing 178.3 million views on his TikTok page.
On Friday, taking to Twitter, the heartless Bermondsey born 69-year-old known also for rolling around on the floor drunk with the convicted racist bigot Marie-Claire, Baroness von Alvensleben, shared what he called “a lovely story” about how he’d met up with a “boy done good” named ‘Christopher.’ He remarked on how he’d met up with this individual 22 years after he’d appeared on his Kids Say The Funniest Things show in 2000 – their first encounter being just months before the assault and killing of a then 31-year-old Lubbock that took place at his very own home.
Bragging first that the TikTok clip of the child he had described on the show as “quite intriguing” had already had 14 million views, the creepy cretin then followed with a second missive featuring images of ‘Christopher’ today – including one of him hugging said individual in London’s Hyde Park. It is nothing but cringeworthy.
Shockingly of this tawdry clip shared just days after the 21st anniversary of Stuart Lubbock’s untimely death, Metro’s Louise Griffin declared: “The presenter shared a very welcome update” before adding: “Fans were thrilled by the unexpected reunion.” In doing so, Griffin simply showed herself to be a reprehensible woman completely lacking in sympathy for the familiies of victims of rape and murder.
Subsequently shared on Saturday by Metro on Facebook with an equally reprehensible quote reading: “Well this is just lovely,” Griffin’s article was met with adulation by some of his fans, but rightly called out by many others. It is shameful and wrong to celebrate this maggot-not-a-man who to this day refuses to cooperate in attempts to get justice for a father-of-two who was brutally slayed at his very own residence.
In June 2019, Barrymore – whom ran away from the scene of the crime before police arrived on that fateful morning in 2001 – arrogantly told Piers Morgan:
“I had nothing to do with Stuart. I am innocent. I am not 99.9% innocent. I am 100% innocent and I am entitled to walk around with my head held high for the rest of my life.”
“I didn’t facilitate him taking drugs. I was advised [to stay silent] by lawyers at the time. You don’t have to answer in a coroner’s court. I can see lots of things in hindsight. I’m not making excuses. I f**ked up. I f**ked up. What more do you want?”
Going further in 2020, Essex Police attempted to rejuvenate interest in the case and pointed out:
“Stuart Lubbock was a young father and much-loved son who remains at the heart of the case. His family want answers and we will continue to do all we can to bring those responsible to justice.”
“On 31st March 2001, nine people attended a party at Michael Barrymore’s house. One of them, Stuart, ended up being violently sexually assaulted at that party.”
“Someone at the party was responsible for what happened. Someone knows that happened. Other people arrived at the scene in the houses after Stuart’s death. Individuals at the party might have told others what happened.”
“We would urge people who do have information to come forward. 19 years is a long time, loyalties change and it’s never too late to do the right thing.”

Barrymore later lied to a coroner’s court about facilitating drug taking at his house on the night in question also.
Barrymore claimed to have been first to have discovered the body of Stuart Lubbock at 5.45am, called his manager Mike Brown before the ambulance arrived and then left the premises. He admits that was “wrong” and also bizarrely told Piers Morgan that in spite of “knowing others were hiding secrets about what happened to Mr. Lubbock” that “I am not going to say their names. I just hope they are brave enough to come forward one day.”

Kelly Campbell – Had met Michael Barrymore for the first time on the night of the incident. Claimed not to have been aware of what happened.
James Futters (sometimes spelt ‘Futers’) – A paper boy turned chef. Described as “a local from the village” and a “friend and neighbour of Barrymore.” Claimed to have been the first to discover the body with Simon Shaw and stated: “[It was not] Michael Barrymore and not Jonathan Kenney [who found him].” Later, of him the Evening Standard reported: “Barrymore offered James Futters a white powder on his finger saying: ‘Do you want to try this?’ Mr Futters told the inquest that he leaned forward and licked the powder.”
Claire Jones – Then aged 17. Had met Michael Barrymore for the first time on the night of the incident. Claimed not to have been aware of what happened but told the police that she “saw Barrymore rummaging through drawers and changing his clothes before police arrived. When he left the house, he had a ‘bundle of material’ under his arm,” according to the Evening Standard. “She added: ‘Jonathan (Kenney) was rushing through the bungalow before the ambulance and police arrived. I got the impression he was hiding something.’”
Jonathan Kenney – Estate agent, drag queen and Michael Barrymore’s then lover; later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged; known for having a “record of violence.” Claimed to have been the first to have discovered the body and is now aged 50.
Justin Merritt – A dustman from Essex. Later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged. Later paid £30,000 by the News of the World for an interview in which he stated Barrymore had “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died.”
Kylie Merritt – Sister of Justin Merritt. She also alleged Barrymore “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died” (curiously in the wake of her brother selling his account of the night).
Simon Shaw – Described as “a local from the village.” Michael Barrymore supposedly “ran off” to Mr. Shaw’s house to “buy himself thinking time [for two hours] before he was questioned by the police [at 7.49am].”
In addition, others, who’ve never been identified could also have possibly been present. If they were, they should come forward or be named by those listed above.
The eight people who went to party on 31st March 2001 who didn’t die. Why won’t any of them tell the truth and why has one of them changed his name?Jonathan Kenney – a now 51-year-old – was the ‘entertainer’s’ lover at the time of the killing. He is now said to be a coach driver, resides supposedly in Cheshire and has most curiously changed his name. One is left wondering why.
Failing GB News’ attempt at becoming more patriotic by playing the National Anthem daily gets slated; dimwit Darren Grimes, of course, had to weigh in
This morning at 5:59am prompt – in what seemed like something from an episode of Dad’s Army gone wrong – the comedy channel with bad lighting that is GB News played God Save The Queen “to kick off live programming.” They bragged that they will do so “every day from now on,” but used accompanying imagery that amongst other things included a pile of rocks (pictured above). It was hardly a show of Britain at its best; it was more like tepid tea, in fact – bland and boring.
In an email sent last night, GB News enthused of their laughable attempt at bigging-up Britain:
“The anthem will play out across GB News Television and GB News Radio at 5.59am, ahead of Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel on weekdays, and Breakfast with Stephen and Anne at weekends.
“As you know, the anthem used to be a regular feature at the BBC, who dropped it from their television service 24 years ago. It means GB News will be only British television broadcaster to play the anthem daily.”
“We promised that GB News would celebrate what’s good about our country when we can, and the Queen’s 70 years on the throne is definitely cause for celebration.”
“We’ve selected an uplifting instrumental version which, for our television viewers, will play over photographs of beautiful British scenes at dawn.”
“We think this moment of quiet reflection will be a lovely way to start the day. We hope you do too.”
Though lauded as a “proud moment for British broadcasting,” according to an article this morning in the MailOnline, the version played was subsequently mocked widely online. Of it, one commentator remarked: “If all GB News has got as imagery to promote modern Britain is a falling down castle, they must truly be getting desperate. They’ve lost Andrew Neil and all they have left, aside from [“condom campaigner”] Tom Harwood, is this. What a joke.”
In another image shown to accompany the airing, the ruins of a castle feature. Is this all that the production team could come up with? Are they trying to suggest that once Great Britain is nothing but a land of ruins? Perhaps they were hinting at Boris Johnson’s premiership being akin to a pile of rubble even.David Poulden and Darren Grimes – both of whom work for GB News – have been amongst those to predictably bang on about the matter on Twitter in recent days. As is to always be expected of him, ‘Dim Darren’ has got especially worked up.
We would argue that ‘We Are The Brits’ by Anton Lorien and his subsequent ‘Like A Diamond’ present a better set of imagery that is frankly at least relevant and joyous. Why didn’t GB News take a look at his videos prior to producing their utterly boring version?
Lorien’s ‘Like A Diamond’ has been watched by over 1.1 million on YouTube since it was uploaded in April 2012. It features amazing footage of the Queen – including a video clip of her running to watch one of her racehorses.
The British National Anthem in its present form dates back to the eighteenth century. The words and tune are anonymous, and may date back to the seventeenth century.
God Save The King was a patriotic song first publicly performed in London in 1745, which came to be known as the National Anthem at the beginning of the nineteenth century.
In September 1745, the ‘Young Pretender’ to the British Throne, Prince Charles Edward Stuart, defeated the army of King George II at Prestonpans, near Edinburgh.
In a fit of patriotic fervour after news of Prestonpans had reached London, the leader of the band at the Theatre Royal, Drury Lane, arranged God Save The King for performance after a play. It was a tremendous success and was repeated nightly.
This practice soon spread to other theatres, and the custom of greeting monarchs with the song as he or she entered a place of public entertainment was thus established.
There is no authorised version of the National Anthem as the words are a matter of tradition. Additional verses have been added down the years, but these are rarely used.
The words used today are those sung in 1745, substituting ‘Queen’ for ‘King’ where appropriate. On official occasions, only the first verse is usually sung.

The decision of GB News to begin the day with the National Anthem was preceded by a discussion about whether the BBC should play it daily on 16th January. The late Terry Lubbock deserves to be remembered and recognised for his campaign for justice for his raped and murdered son Stuart
Terry Lubbock, whom tragically died on Wednesday after a long battle with terminal cancer, was a fearless campaigner, but also a man cheated of justice in the case of the rape and murder of his son, Stuart, at the then home of Michael Barrymore on 31st March 2001.
Stuart Lubbock, a victim of an unsolved to this day rape and murder at the bungalow home of Michael Barrymore, on the day of his marriage to Sue Homan.Michael Barrymore took to Twitter just hours after the death of the father of the victim of murder and rape at his then home, 4 Beaumont Park Drive, Roydon, Harlow, Essex, CM19 5HB, finally succumbed to his battle with terminal cancer. His tweet was quite rightly condemned, yet calls for him to say something appropriate instead were completely ignored by him.
Speaking of the late 76-year-old to the Mirror, Mr Lubbock’s friend and publicist Harry Cichy remarked:
“You don’t come across many people like Terry Lubbock. His tenacity and determination were incredible. He looked like a mild-mannered man, but he had the heart of a lion.”
“I knew him for 16 years. He thought about Stuart every waking hour, seven days a week.”
“He’s died sad, because he’s died knowing people never knew the truth about what happened. But no-one could have fought harder for their son.”
“A new inquest was what really mattered to him. He had lost faith in the police. Sadly, he’s died not knowing whether there will be another inquest.”
Meanwhile elsewhere, just hours after Mr Lubbock’s passing was announced, the one-time associate of the paedophile Sir Jimmy Savile and long since disgraced entertainer Michael Barrymore took to Twitter. Callously and piling further misery on the Lubbock family, he announced: “Do what you want in life. X.”
Today, in memory of both Stuart and Terry Lubbock, we again say shame on him and call on this reprehensible individual and the others present on that fateful night to do the right thing: Attend Essex Police and finally tell the truth.

Jonathan Kenney – Estate agent, drag queen and Michael Barrymore’s then lover; later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged; known for having a “record of violence.” Claimed to have been the first to have discovered the body and is now aged 50.
Justin Merritt – A dustman from Essex. Later arrested on suspicion of murder but never charged. Later paid £30,000 by the News of the World for an interview in which he stated Barrymore had “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died.”
Kylie Merritt – Sister of Justin Merritt. She also alleged Barrymore “rubbed cocaine on Stuart Lubbock’s lips shortly before he died” (curiously in the wake of her brother selling his account of the night).

After announcing they will not be charging the 50-year-old arrested in March on suspicion of the rape and murder of Stuart Lubbock at the home of the disgraced ‘entertainer’ Michael Barrymore, Essex Police’s Detective Chief Superintedent Lucy Morris expressed that “this news was a huge personal disappointment to all detectives involved in this case.”
Frankly, as the victim’s father Terry Lubbock faces death from terminal cancer, this development yet again brings to light the fact of the matter. Nine people were present at the Roydon, Essex bungalow on the night of the murder. One of them died and they died at the hands of one of the five other men present. It is jolly well time that the reprehensible lot of them told the truth and it is jolly well time for justice for Stuart Lubbock.

Michael Parker (AKA Michael Barrymore) – Allegedly loudly said: “I need a f**k” in a taxi as he left the Millennium Nightclub to return to his home, the scene of the death of Stuart Lubbock. Barrymore later lied to a coroner’s court about facilitating drug taking at his house on the night in question also.
Barrymore claimed to have been first to have discovered the body of Stuart Lubbock at 5.45am, called his manager Mike Brown before the ambulance arrived and then left the premises. He admits that was “wrong” and also bizarrely told Piers Morgan that in spite of “knowing others were hiding secrets about what happened to Mr. Lubbock” that “I am not going to say their names. I just hope they are brave enough to come forward one day.”

Nikolay Kalinin examines whether Andrew Neil will or will not return to front GB News
It’s been more than a month since Andrew Neil announced that he was taking a break from GB News, and there’s reports that his “break” might just turn permanent, as reports come revealing a depressing picture of the broadcaster.
On Wednesday, The Telegraph reported that “there is now growing speculation that the ex-BBC stalwart will never return to the airwaves amid rumours of a bitter rift with his chief executive Angelos Frangopoulos.”
Frangopoulos is the former boss of Sky News Australia, which he turned from a budget channel to a megaphone for right-wingers, and there was speculation that he wanted to do the same with GB News. In other words, this clot wants GB News to become a safe haven for ‘COVIDIOTS’ like Laurence Fox.
On Thursday, The Daily Express – yes, I am aware it’s not the most reliable of sources – meanwhile published a statement from a source from GB News that highlights Neil’s chaotic time during his two weeks as presenter:
“He looked miserable, dejected and seriously stressed during the two weeks he was in Paddington. It wasn’t just the shambolic launch getting him down. It was the relentless technical failures making proper broadcasting impossible.”
“One night I was in the newsroom as he came off air after another hour of technical disasters. I think he was close to tears.”
Nevertheless, a spokesperson for GB News denied that the veteran presenter is abandoning ship and stated that he will “return from holiday in September to host his 8pm show.” This claim was further backed up by Neil’s own spokesperson.
There does seem to be a high chance that Neil may come back to GB News, considering how successful Nigel Farage’s show has been, even to the point that the broadcasts manage to attract more viewers than afternoon shows on the BBC and Sky News.
Still, we have to point out that Farage’s show is the only one attaining impressive ratings, and judging by how little amount of people tune into the channel on YouTube – at the time of writing, only 633 people are watching GB News live via YouTube – it could be a sign that the channel might not attain as much success as some people expected.
Astonishingly, Nigel Farage has proven to be a more popular presenter with audiences on GB News than the channel’s very own creator. Mr Farage’s evening show focuses on migrants crossing the channel from France to Britain and is most definitely a “lurch” to attract an even more right-wing audience than where the broadcaster sits already.
Right-leaning “alternative” GB News launched in June but the channel is “struggling” to gain traction. Whilst the wannabe “British equivalent of Fox News” aimed to “exposed the growing promotion of cancel culture” and give a voice” to those who feel sidelined or silenced,” it has failed to enthuse audiences.

A spokesperson for “anti-woke” GB News has claimed: “We are enormously proud of our progress in only eight weeks. As a start-up, we continue to move at lightning speed, learning, refining and growing constantly. We’re committed to serving our audience by delivering the stories and issues that matter to them.” Others have suggested that the channel’s “plummeting ratings” and chaotic style will result in it not even lasting a year.
After reinstating ‘Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Channel’ yesterday, in yo-yo-like fashion it has now been taken down again; are mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s PR peddlers targeting his work?
Yesterday, YouTube did the right thing and reinstated crusading crime commentator Shaun Attwood to their channel.
Today, they reversed their decision after a concerted campaign by his critics and once again, this morning, the Shaun Attwood True Crime Channel has been “terminated for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.”
In a missive to Attwood, seen by The Steeple Times today, YouTube ridiculously justified their actions by stating:
“We have reviewed your content and found severe or repeated violations of our Community Guidelines. Because of this, we have removed your channel from YouTube.”
“We know that this is probably very upsetting news, but it’s our job to make sure that YouTube is a safe place for all. If we think that a channel severely violates our policies, we take it down to protect other users on the platform – but if you believe that we’ve made the wrong call, you can appeal this decision. You’ll find more information about the policy in question and how to submit an appeal below.”
Commenting this morning on Twitter, Ash Meikle, guest booker and lead researcher for Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Channel remarked of Twitter’s approach:
“Your inconsistencies, lack of clarity and general poor guidance for content creators needs revisiting. How can you reinstate a channel one day and remove it the next without explanation after apologising and saying it was a mistake? Complete overhaul of policies needed.”
Shaun Attwood is a good ‘citizen’ of YouTube and a respected educator about the perils and pitfalls of criminality. Proof of that is provided in the fact that ‘TedX Talks’ – which has 32 million subscribers – invited him to give a TEDx talk in January 2017. A video of that has been viewed 1.8 million times on YouTube and liked 39,000 times also. On that basis alone, YouTube should realise the error of their decision and reinstate this campaigner’s channel once again.
Responding directly to YouTube with yet another appeal, Attwood himself added:
“Yesterday, my terminated channel was ruled in compliance and reinstated due to a successful appeal. Today it has gone again for the same reasons. Here’s the appeal:”
“The violations revolve around news/educational coverage of high-profile sex-abuse cases documented in the media, e.g. Epstein. Your guidelines provide an exception for debating ‘high profile officials or leaders: Content featuring debates or discussions of topical issues concerning individuals who have positions of power…’”
“After the 1st strike, I requested guidance from YouTube. None came. I visited Google HQ in London, only to be told to contact support. As a precautionary measure, I deleted 40% of my channel, almost 60 million views. I completely stopped covering the Epstein case, with no intention to resume. I educated my team on cyberbullying and interviewed a cyberbullying activist.”
“It goes against the spirit of YouTube to bombard a good citizen of 13 years with multiple strikes on old deleted videos.”
Clearly, as the mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial for the enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underage girls for her on-off paedophile lover Jeffrey Epstein approaches, her PR team are upping their efforts to silence those speaking out against her. Today, we ask: “Are Miss Maxwell’s well-connected supporters – whom number the pompous PR peddler Brian Basham and the potty political prattler Jay Beecher – attempting to put a stop to those covering her case?”
Today also, we urge readers to support Shaun Attwood in his efforts to permanently get his YouTube channel back by tweeting @TeamYouTube. Please ask them to explain why they have once again terminated Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Channel and please ask them to reinstate it.
Shaun Attwood is someone who has turned his life around and after serving his sentence in America has spent time educating others about why crime ultimately doesn’t pay. His YouTube channel is informative and its removal yet again illustrates that this social media giant isn’t policing its users in a fair or correct way. Attwood does not merit de-platforming; he should instead be promoted.

Subscribed to by an astonishing 667,000 individuals and featuring everything from interviews with eccentric author and tellybox tattler Lady Colin Campbell to female armed robber Linda ‘The Black Widow’ Calvey, Attwood’s channel was temporarily censored this week on the completely false basis that it supposedly promoted cyberbullying.
Yet again illustrating that social media channels – including not only YouTube but also Facebook and Twitter especially – act irrationally over account management, the thankfully temporary closure of this widely respected channel illustrates the problem of the vast size of these organisations. With millions to ‘police,’ the result is that the likes of YouTube are unable to differentiate between genuine abuse of their platform and targeted campaigns to ‘take down’ particular individuals.
Cited amongst the cases that caused the “day of many strikes” closure was an interview with The Lost Boys star turned activist against child abuse Corey Feldman and also videos about Jeffrey Epstein and his wicked associates – including one featuring both the Ghislaine Maxwell: An Unauthorized Biography author Kirby Sommers and this publication’s very own co-founder, Matthew Steeples.
Now, however, quite rightly, the censorship of this informative channel has been stopped; Shaun Attwood is back and we look forward to yet more excellent content from this wise and witty gentleman.

The Widnes born author and activist took to Twitter on Saturday morning to announce his YouTube channel had quite rightly been reinstated after the social media giant reviewed his account. In a message to him, the firm stated: “After taking another look, we can confirm that [‘Shaun Attwood’s True Crime’ account] is not in violation of our Terms of Service. We have lifted the suspension of your account and it is once again active and operational… We’re sorry for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused.”
Recent interviewees on the channel have included the author Steve Wraith – whose books about his encounters with criminals were discussed in a 4 hour, 36 minute one-on-one that has been viewed over 15,700 times.
An especially fascinating interview on the channel premiered on YouTube on 20th May May this year. Viewed over 26,800 to date, the episode featured Linda ‘The Black Widow’ Calvey discussing her debut crime novel, ‘The Locksmith.’ Described as “the true crime book of the year,” Calvey’s novel is listed as: “If you think you know everything about the East End’s toughest gangsters, think again. Meet Linda Calvey, aka the Black Widow. Growing up after the war in the East End of London, Linda falls in with local gangsters including the Krays, Freddie Foreman and Ronnie Cook. Matthew Steeples, editor-in-chief of ‘The Steeple Times,’ has appeared on the channel on a number of occasions recently to discuss true crimes cases including that of Jeremy Bamber, Max Clifford, Luke Durbin, Rolf Harris, Stuart Lubbock, Madeleine McCann and Ghislaine Maxwell amongst others.

A 2-hour, 14-minute interview with Matthew Steeples on the channel has been viewed over 138,900 times since it was uploaded on 8th May this year. With 5,500 likes and over 940 comments on this one video alone, here is a YouTube channel that should be promoted and not censored.
Since June, the former UKIP leader hosted a Sunday political discussion show called The Political Correction, and now the people behind the channel have decided that they are comfortable enough to allow ‘Nutty Nige’ to have his own show.
In the video announcement, Farage projected his usual anti-establishment tone that would appeal to an average UKIP voter – if there’s even such a thing left – stating: “I’ll interview people who really understand their subjects, not some minister who’s there to spout the party line.”
In an attempt to further shoehorn how right-wing he is, Farage ended the video with the remark: “I will not be taking the knee on this show!”
Farage’s announcement comes days after reports have been released revealing a chaotic atmosphere behind the scenes, including the departure of the channel’s director of programming John McAndrew due to his opposition to “Wootton-style culture war rants,” as well as Gill Penlington, another senior figure who has worked for CNN and Sky News.
This therefore, makes Nigel Farage the only rat in history to join a sinking ship.
In a way, the decision by the channel’s management to promote Farage to official host during this time demonstrates that they are trying to save the channel by attempting to appeal to Farage’s audience, who most likely were the ones boycotting the channel some time ago because of a guest presenter taking the knee, meaning that GB News has essentially confirmed that it’s pandering to a right-wing audience.
This could increase the channel’s ratings, although I predict it will not make much of a difference, because GB News is still far behind esteemed broadcasters such as BBC and ITV when it comes to ratings. I also honestly doubt that audiences will be attracted to another political discussion show that has the same format as all the other shows.
