Lost & Linked Via Lawyers – Alleged Fraudster Sam Bankman-Fried Hires Fraudster’s Daughter Ghislaine Maxwell’s Lawyers

That the man who ‘lost’ his investors over £8.2 billion Sam Bankman-Fried has hired a lawyer used by the woman whose dad ‘lost’ £500 million of pensioners’ money Ghislaine Maxwell is telling

Birds of a feather do tend to flock together and now it seems the daughter of the pension pot plundering thief Robert Maxwell’s lawyer has moved on and taken on another alleged scammer. Now, it seems, fresh from failing to keep her out of the clink in 2021, mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s lawyer Mark S. Cohen has taken on alleged cryptocurrency conman Sam Bankman-Fried.

Said to once be worth as much as £21.5 billion ($26.5 billion, €25 billion or درهم97.3 billion) but now down to one working credit card with “maybe £81,000 ($100,000, €95,000 or درهم367,000) in that bank account,” self-declared “I didn’t ever try to commit fraud” Bankman-Fried is surely hardly a dream client but clearly Cohen, a former assistant United States attorney for the Eastern District of New York, is banking on getting a win rather than a lose this time round.

Given, however, that Bankman-Fried also spoke “against the advice of his lawyers” earlier this month at The New York Times’ Dealbook Summit, one is simply left questioning this managing partner at Cohen & Gresser’s rationale. In fact, let’s get to the point: Is Mark S. Cohen just a man who is actually a magnet for multimillionaire megalomaniacs who simply cannot and will not ever pay their bills?

Fresh from failing for Ghislaine Maxwell, Mark S. Cohen, attorney and managing partner of Cohen & Gresser, has been retained by FTX co-founder Sam Bankman-Fried (AKA ‘SBF’) – who is also said to be consulting David Mills, a professor at Stanford Law. Joseph Bankman, the father of ‘SBF,’ is also a Stanford Law professor.

Scruffy ‘SBF’ – born in March 1992 – remarkably achieved the almighty ‘accolade’ of building a personal fortune of £21.5 billion and then very quickly losing it in his 30 years on the planet. He’s said to be down to his last £80,000 and the chances of him being able to personally pay his new lawyer, Mark S. Cohen, seem as likely as Ghislaine Maxwell ponying up and paying her outstanding said to be £3 million plus legal bills.

In happier times… Mr and Mrs Scott Borgerson (pictured left and right with a couple named Vikki Spruill and Jeff Spruill “at a cake-cutting ceremony celebrating the 50th anniversary of the New England Aquarium on 20th June 2019) seemed like they were destined for a life of luxury and lavishness back when they met in 2015. Little did Mr Borgerson know what he was in for, or, did he plan it all along? Did he know what was coming and did he, like his fellow submarine pilot, have deviousness on the brain? They say that the “truth is stranger than fiction” and in the case of a couple who hid their union even from Ghislaine Maxwell’s siblings until she was arrested, something most definitely stinks to high heaven. Mr Borgerson now finds himself, along with his in-the-clink wife and her brother Kevin, chased by lawyers said to be seeking circa £3 million in unpaid fees.

He’s definitely moved on… Scott Borgerson clearly doesn’t miss his old ‘missus’ Ghislaine. Though he clearly was never proud enough to be open with anyone (and nor was she) during their union – they married in either late 2015 or early 2016, depending on which source you might take as gospel – he’s now living it up with a sexually saucy “yoga enthusiast” with an “ass that could crack open a walnut” named Kris McGinn. On Instagram, she describes herself to her 149 followers as a “writer” and though she’s not posted since 19th October 2021, she previously bizarrely mused about ravens in October 2020. At that time, she quoted a bit of Edgar Allan Poe – “But the Raven still beguiling my sad fancy into smiling” – and stated: “Loved learning more about these marvelous creatures with Jim Benhke for this week’s Cricket.” Clearly, whilst she then got to “smile” when Ghislaine Maxwell got sent down on 29th December 2021, all the mucky madam got instead was an errant husband who, it seems, has run off with her ‘wonga wonga.’

Aside from unpaid lawyers, the Twitterati continue to point out that Jeffrey Epstein’s one-time lover remains “the first person ever to be convicted of trafficking children to nobody.” Isn’t it time, especially if she wants to see any reduction in her sentence, that the noxious nonce Ghislaine Maxwell offered up some of the very, very high profile names to whom she and her co-conspirators (including the also croaked Jean-Luc Brunel) ‘supplied’ girls and boys even?

Purchased by a limited liability company controlled by Ghislaine Maxwell’s then “secret husband” Scott Borgerson for £2.294 million ($2.450 million, €2.564 million or درهم8.998 million) on 30th June 2016. During the transaction, decidedly deviant Ghislaine Maxwell is said to have used the pseudonym ‘Jennifer Ellmax.’

Purchased for £1.004 million ($1.070 million, €1.121 million or درهم3.932million) in a cash transaction on 13th December 2019 by a shell company formed on 18th November 2019 named Granite Realty LLC.

Approached in November for comment as to the current status of this property by The Steeple Times, a representative selling agent at the time of Maxwell’s purchase, Four Seasons Sotheby’s International Realty, cryptically responded: “We have no information on this property and unfortunately have no contact information for the owner. Sorry we could not be of more help.”

A neighbour, approached recently by The Steeple Times, shared: “We are sick of ghouls coming to look at this house. They bang on the door and when they don’t get an answer as it is clearly empty, they pester us. One even asked me if I could help him get in as he wanted to take a picture on the landing. He said: ‘I want my Prince Andrew shot.’ I told him to bugger off.”

Banking On Epstein – Jeffrey Epstein Victims Sue Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan

As victims of Jeffrey Epstein sue Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan, we ask: “Why aren’t they also going after Barclays and Jes Staley also?”

Whilst yesterday grubby groper Ghislaine Maxwell got to get out of her cell for a few hours to max out on a novel nosh-up consisting of a vegan turkey replacement named Tofurky®, news was breaking that Deutsche Bank AG and JPMorgan Chase & Co. were being sued by two unnamed women in connection to her late lover, Jeffrey Epstein, being enabled by them.

Clearly making a stramash out of the fact that there’s still plenty of Epstein cash floating around, two separate lawsuits filed in the U.S. District for the Southern District of New York on Thursday allege the financial institutions knowingly benefitted from “assisting, supporting, facilitating, and otherwise providing the most critical service for the Jeffrey Epstein sex trafficking organisation to successfully rape, sexually assault, and coercively sex traffic” the women in spite of their having knowledge about Epstein’s nefarious activities.

Going further the anonymous plaintiffs allege that both firms were happy to “earn millions of dollars” facilitating a since croaked and already convicted paedophile criminal and “chose profit over following the law.” Here were institutions, the alleged victims stated, ignored “red flags” and of them, Bradley Edwards, a lawyer in one of the cases, stated: “The time has come for the real enablers to be held responsible, especially his wealthy friends and the financial institutions that played an integral role. These victims were wronged, by many, not just Epstein. He did not act alone.”

They add that Epstein would have been unable to keep his sex trafficking operation going without “the assistance and complicity” of banking institutions and that the involvement of Deutsche and JP Morgan gave “the appearance of legitimacy.”

In another part of the filing, featured in the DailyMail.com, it was further observed that the two firms “knew that Epstein would use means of force, threats of force, fraud, abuse of legal process, exploitation of power disparity, and a variety of other forms of coercion to cause young women and girls to engage in commercial sex acts” and “also engaged in repeated acts of racketeering activity to support the Epstein organisation.”

Tellingly, the online title also shared: “[Deutsche] was fined $150 million by state regulators in 2020 for failings which included not intervening as Epstein paid women’s tuition and gave suspicious payments to Russian models and women with Eastern European names. The [firm] had a responsibility to monitor his accounts because he was a registered sex offender.”

Whilst Deutsche told The Hill that “this claim lacks merit” and JPMorgan “declined to comment,” one is left asking why these two women haven’t also gone after another key player in this matter, Barclays, and its quite rightly now disgraced Epstein ‘bestie’ former CEO, Jes Staley.

Disgraced Boston, Massachusetts born “casino banker” Jes Staley pictured living it up with his wild-eyed wife Debbie Nitzan Staley. The pair visited Little St James, the island owned by Jeffrey Epstein, just months before Mr Staley took up his role at Barclays in 2015 in spite of the now croaked paedophile’s 2008 conviction for sexual offences against minors. He was clearly a very close associate of the dodgy duo, whatever he now claims.

Little St James – now quite understandably better known as ‘Paedo Island’ – was not only the scene of meetings between the now former Barclays CEO and the now croaked paedophile. It was also allegedly one of the locations where Prince Andrew abused the woman he paid £12 million to in spite of claiming to have never met, Virginia Roberts Giuffre. Since Epstein’s rather suspicious death in 2019, various “garish” items on the island have been removed – amongst them gargoyles and sculptures of cockatoos and a cow. Unsurprisingly, the island remains for sale and currently Margo Lynch of Christie’s International Real Estate is laughably attempting to flog this hellhole and neighbouring Great St James as “an island hopper’s dream” for £91.3 million – down from £94.5 million in March this year and prior valuations of £181.8 million. One is simply left asking: “Who’d call places where countless people were abused a ‘dream’? They’re more like a ‘nightmare’!” Margo Lynch must be on either crack, acid, the hooch or all of the aforementioned.

Ghislaine Maxwell – You’re Fired!

As mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s murky mate Kevin Spacey tries to get a psychologist connected to her case barred from his case, her own lawyers tell her: “You’re fired!”

When the sordid sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell was sentenced on 28^th June, many hoped that would be that and that she’d fade away quietly. Frankly though, let’s get real, that was never, ever going to happen in a story so sordid and one that seems to just be rabbit hole after rabbit hole.

Supposedly now owing a sum estimated by legal experts as high as £3 million ($3.2 million, €3.4 million or درهم11.8 million) in unpaid fees to various lawyers alongside her estranged husband – who it can now be revealed she “married in or about August 2015” and not later in 2016 as has been claimed previously – croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s mucky madam mistress, her strangely secretive husband Scott Borgerson and her brother, Kevin, have now incurred the wrath of one firm of lawyers to the point that they’ve rather ironically gone all Donald Trump and declared: “You’re fired!”

With Quinatiros, Prieto, Wood & Boyer having given up on her and her cohorts after “repeated requests” for payment, Maxwell now has 60 days to find new attorneys, but, as the DailyMail.com pointed out earlier this week, “it is unclear where will find the funds to pay them.”

In documents filed in the US Virgin Islands it was also shockingly revealed that Epstein had agreed he “would always support Maxwell financially” and that Borgerson had made “suspiciously timed [property] transfers” through companies named Tidewood LLC and Granite Realty LLC.

HMF’s current lawsuit alleges: “Granite, Mr. Borgerson and other entities associated with Mr Borgerson including Tidewood LLC, acquired several high-end properties including two condominiums in Boston, an estate in Manchester, Massachusetts [‘Tidewood’], and an estate in Bradford, New Hampshire [‘Tuckedaway’].”

Meanwhile elsewhere yesterday, Law & Crime reported that actor Kevin Spacey is trying to distance himself from his former chum and clearly wouldn’t be averse to chucking her under the bus Frank Underwood style.

According to the paper’s Meghann Cuniff, lawyers for the actor “are trying to bar an expert who testified in Ghislaine Maxwell‘s criminal sex trafficking trial from testifying about the credibility of Spacey’s accuser in a civil sexual assault trial scheduled to begin next week.”

Going further of the court documents, Cuniff adds:

“A memorandum filed Monday in the Southern District of New York calls psychologist Lisa Rocchio‘s expected testimony ‘a thinly-veiled plan’ to vouch for accuser Anthony Rapp‘s credibility under the guise of expert testimony. It also calls for Rocchio to be prohibited from testifying about what motivated Rapp to publicly accuse Spacey in 2017 and from opining about Spacey’s psychological state and whether she believes he assaulted Rapp.”

No Excuses Dick – Shame On Those Trying To Suggest Dame Cressida Dick As Little Miss Innocent
Ghislaine Maxwell’s schoolmate Dame Cressida Dick’s bleating about her deserved demise should be called out as the disgrace that it truly is; with her turfed out with the trash it is now time for institutional change at the Met Police; no excuses should be accepted

“She felt intimidated by the Mayor of London” before her resignation claimed some blithering bore of Dame Cressida Dick DBE, QPM on Radio 4’s ‘PM’ last night in spite of the fact that all this useless woman achieved between 2017 and 2022 as Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis.

Born in 1960, just like her Oxford school and university mate Ghislaine Maxwell – both were taught by Dame Cressida’s father Marcus Dick, a senior tutor at Balliol College – the now deservedly binned former Metropolitan Police chief’s bleatings should be treated with the contempt they well and truly deserved given she presided over and did nothing about racism and misogyny.

Responding this morning on Radio 4’s ‘Today’ programme Leroy Logan MBE, a founding member in 1994 and longtime chair of the Black Police Association, quite rightly slammed Dame Cressida’s tenur and added:

“[It is time for the Met Police to adopt a] culture that embraces a more positive culture of embracing whistleblowers… It is time for them to go against the ‘don’t grass on your colleagues’ culture.”

“They have been marking their own homework during the tenure of this last government… They have to acknowledge that they got things wrong.”

Whilst protocol was completely ignored during Dame Cressida’s tenure and public trust in law enforcement in London was very badly damaged as result, it is now time for better vetting of officers. It is also time that the Metropolitan Police spoke the truth to the powerful politicians who’ve had overly too much influence over it for far too long and with “bye, bye Boris” (and “good riddance” also) being sung in the streets on Monday, it is time for a new era of honesty and transparency.

The Met’s Catalogue of Failures – Shame on Them

There is unsurprisingly currently zero public confidence in the frankly incompetent Metropolitan Police and of it one Twitter user, June Sim, rightly stated in January 2022: “The Met has always been a byword amongst regional forces. We used to joke if you were rejected, they’ll take anybody. Not helped by the reputation confirmed by the Daniel Morgan report. Reputation already tarnished.”

Amongst the many failings of what ought to be the nation’s premier police force – aside from multiple allegations of racism and racial bias against its officers, its failure to deal with spiralling teenage murders and the many allegations of corruption and incompetence levelled at it – are:
- 1987 – Botched investigation into the murder of Daniel Morgan.
- 1993 – Botched investigation into the murder of Stephen Lawrence.
- 1994 – Botched investigation into allegations that Ghislaine Maxwell operated a brothel in South Kensington.
- 2009 – Unlawful killing of Ian Tomlinson during his arrest by Met Police officers.
- 2005 – Shooting of Jean Charles de Menezes by Met Police officers on the orders of Cressida Dick.
- 2013 – Strip searching of Dr Koshka Duff during her arrest for intervening during a Met Police stop-and-search of a black teenager.
- 2014 – Bungled investigation into allegations of historic child abuse made by Carl Beech.
- 2014 to 2015 – Failure to stop Stephen Port committing subsequent serial killings in spite of his already being linked to the death of a man outside his home.
- 2019 – Farcical mismanagement of policing of Extinction Rebellion protests leading to a bill of £37 million in policing costs.
- 2020 – Misconduct of Met Police officers during their investigation into the murders of Bibaa Henry and Nicole Smallman.
- 2020 – Found to be 2.17 times as likely to issue fines to black people relative to the rest of the population during the COVID-19 pandemic lockdowns.
- 2021 – Misconduct of Met Police officers during their investigation into the disappearance of Richard Okorogheye.
- 2021 – Met Police officer Ben Hannam found to be a member of a banned terrorist group.
- 2021 – Shocking conduct of Met Police officers after the murder of Sarah Everard by one of their own colleagues.
- 2022 – Apparent collaboration with Boris Johnson and his government to delay report into ‘Partygate.’
- 2022 – Decision of Met Police to not bother continuing their investigation into the London activities of the croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
Former Metropolitan Police chief Dame Cressida Dick DBE, QPM (pictured with two other incompetent horrors, Priti Patel and Boris Johnson) quite understandably came under fire over crises under her watch that numbered the disgraceful shooting and killing of an innocent man, Jean Charles de Menezes. She was also slammed over the Met’s use of stop and search tactics, the handlings of recommendations made after the botched Operation Midland, the arrests of attendees at a candlelight vigil for murdered-by-a-serving-Met-officer Sarah Everard and complaints by the Daniel Morgan Independent Panel that she obstructed their inquiry into police corruption. Is it any surprise that by the end the public had no faith in her?
