    A Distraction Disgrace – ‘Christian B’ Cleared

    As Christian Brueckner is cleared of the abduction of the “German Madeleine McCann” Inga Gehricke, we again slam the use of the distraction technique

    In September 2020, we reported that Christian Brueckner – the plainly vile German paedophile touted as the abductor of Madeleine McCann in Praia Da Luz, Portugal in May 2007 – was going to be cleared. Now, today, in a throwaway piece buried deep in The Sun’s online pages, it has been revealed that this incarcerated monster has “been ruled out” of the May 2015 kidnapping of Inga Gehricke – a 5-year-old dubbed “the German Maddie.”

     

    When ‘Christian B,’ as some media sources reference the convicted rapist, was first brought to public attention last year, Boris Johnson’s government were struggling to handle the fact that coronavirus chaos was hampering them in the headlines.

     

    The introduction of Brueckner as a suspect in the disappearance of Madeleine McCann, for some days, helped them as it distracted from their woes. Here, was a clear example of the ‘distraction technique’ at work and now, here, we can see where this ‘investigation’ is going: A complete whitewash.

     

    Speaking to The Sun last night, Brueckner’s lawyer, Friedrich Fulscher, remarked: “The public prosecutor’s office has thoroughly examined connections to the Inga case and determined there isn’t even an initial suspicion against my client.”

     

    Going further of the distraction plainly going on in McCann case, speaking earlier, Fulscher added:

     

    “My client hasn’t been charged with anything. [Christian Brueckner] is under investigation and under suspicion. I have to assume that they do not have any concrete evidence. I think that’s quite typical for us Germans.”

     

    “We think we are something special, at least in Europe, and think we can do things better than other nations. We will see if that is the case, but I don’t think so.”

     

    Meanwhile on Monday, in yet further distraction in The Sun, Gerry and Kate McCann’s unnamed “close pal” cryptically commented of their ongoing legal battle with the former Portuguese police officer Gonaclo Amaral:  

     

    “It drags on and on. They go one step forward then two two back. It’s caused them so much anguish over the years and they just want to draw a line under it.”

     

    Mr Amaral has won against the McCanns in a civil case they brought on three occasions and repeatedly been cleared of any wrongdoing.

    Just as ‘Operation Grange’ is no doubt about to need a further input of wonga-wonga to top up the £12 million plus pointlessly thrown at it so far, “friends” of Gerry and Kate McCann have returned to PR spinning and are now describing the investigation into Christian Brueckner to be “beyond bizarre.”

     

    Featured in the Mirror this morning, the unnamed “friend” in question claimed the McCanns cannot understand what is going on with the German suspect and anonymously remarked:

     

    “Any police force or prosecuting chief should not be boasting… but should be remaining silent as in the case of the Met Police.”

     

    “They should… not be suggesting that members of the public would be reaching the same conclusion as they do about the suspect if they knew the evidence they had. It is beyond bizarre and not very helpful to the investigation.”

     

    “If Mr Wolters [the German prosecutor] has got any significant evidence we cannot understand why the key suspect is not being questioned.”

     

    “If the prosecutors are intent that Brueckner is a genuine person of interest to be questioned and possibly charged over Madeleine’s disappearance, why has this action not been taken.”

     

    “If they think he is a red herring and had no involvement they should say so, instead of playing games, because the real culprit could be out there and escaping any scrutiny.”

     

    Responding on the Facebook group ‘The Madeleine McCann Controversy,’ one of 36,500 members, Lisa Jeynes, quite rightly remarked: “Good PR from Kate and Gerry. Or are they getting cold feet?”

     

    Plainly, as has repeatedly been suggested, Christian Brueckner is most definitely a vile man, but as of date nothing concrete has emerged linking him to the ‘disappearance’ of Madeleine McCann. Enough is enough and it is now frankly time that Scotland Yard allocated their resources to help other families in need.

    As Scotland Yard suggest Christian Brueckner will likely never be charged over the ‘disappearance’ of Madeleine McCann, Matthew Steeples argues that the British government finally put a stop to funding this pointless search and instead feed hungry children

    This morning on Twitter, @Oi_Its_Strikey pointed out that people should: “Remember this is the same government who spent £12 million looking for Madeleine McCann, but doesn’t want to feed children. Oh how the UK has fallen to the depths of hell.”

     

    Aside from the fact that this person’s point is bang on the nail, what must be remembered is that every penny spent searching on the search for a child whose parents didn’t even lock the doors of the apartment in which they left three children alone is a penny that could have been used to actually seek out other missing children who could actually be found.

     

    Now, with news this morning in the Daily Star that “Madeleine McCann’s parents have been told its ‘highly unlikely’ prime suspect Christian Brueckner will be charged over her disappearance,” those rightly outraged at the way in this case will again correctly cry foul.

     

    According to the paper: “Scotland Yard detectives say there is ‘no evidence’ linking the German drifter to the crime 13 years ago” and added: “Police have warned parents Kate and Gerry not to get their hopes up that Brueckner, 43, will ever be brought to justice.”

     

    As has been repeatedly pointed out, Brueckner is a thoroughly vile man, but his predilection appears to have been for much older victims. Equally, as his lawyer highlighted earlier this month, phone record evidence suggests this monster could not have been near the apartment in the 90-second window when the alleged ‘kidnapping’ took place.

     

    Yet again, the authorities have played the ‘distraction card’ in this case and yet again all it does is bring shame upon them. Here we have a story where politicians and the police have repeatedly aided and abetted the hiding of the real truth of this almighty mess and here also we have a media who lap up the nonsense they are repeatedly fed.

     

    It is now finally time to put a stop to the wasteful and fruitless search for Madeleine McCann and instead use valuable and scarce resources to actually achieve something – perhaps like feeding poor children.

    Yesterday, just as Friedrich Fulscher, the lawyer for the as of yet still charged with nothing in the Madeleine McCann case Christian Brueckner, shared further evidence that “he says left him convinced of [his client’s] innocence,” “Spain’s leading expat newspaper” The Olive Press suggested “a pair of Russian expats based in Spain have been linked to the disappearance.”

     

    Fulscher has concluded that Brueckner could not have travelled from various locations in Praia da Luz to the apartment where the McCann family were staying without getting caught in the 90 second window when the alleged kidnapping took place. Speaking to the Mirror, the lawyer stated:

     

    “If the witness statements are correct, there was a time window of one minute and 30 seconds in which the child could have been abducted. My client did not commit this crime.”

     

    In further indication that whilst the case against Brueckner – who is undoubtedly a vile and evil man – is slipping away and could simply have been yet another play of the distraction technique, The Olive Press allege that police are now looking for two Russian brothers linked to the yacht industry.

     

    As with every twist and turn in this case including the preposterous “Madeleine McCann is alive and living with a German family on the Algarve” story fed to the media in July, all ‘investigations’ in this case only ever lead to one place: Yet more money wasted on a search that will likely never get any result and yet more money wasted that could have helped the families of other missing people.

    DISTRACTION AT WORK – Whilst Christian Brueckner’s lawyer Friedrich Fuelscher this week told the Mirror: “He could be my dogsitter, yes, but because of his record I would not let him look after my own daughter,” he also shared that he has “uncovered completely new information which he plans to reveal in the coming weeks.”

                                      

    “I cannot tell you what it is – but it is big. It certainly surprised me,” he continued and frankly the fact of the matter is thus far the German police have been able to come up with utterly nothing concrete linking this plainly vile man to what actually happened on the 3rd May 2007 in Apartment 5a, Rua Dr Agostihno Da Silva, Praia Da Luz.

     

    The lawyer for ‘Christian B’ – as some refer to him – also rightly pointed out that “[Scotland Yard still] have good reasons to still treat this as a missing persons’ inquiry” rather than a murder and that yet more good money has been thrown after bad when the cases of other missing people get little to no attention is an utter outrage. Here, clearly, yet again, the distraction technique is in play and frankly it is time to put a stop to this disgraceful charade for once and for all.

    First, at the height of the coronavirus lockdown, German criminal Christian Brueckner was plastered all over the media as the ‘new’ likely person responsible for the disappearance of Madeleine McCann. Though this may indeed be possible (just as Shergar the racehorse may still be dashing round a track somewhere), the development was anything but ‘new’ as we reported in June. Equally, in the time since, no actual concrete evidence has been produced and thus this ‘solution’ has been anything but proven.

     

    Now, this weekend, the MailOnline have reported that “a new witness has come forward to claim that Madeleine McCann is alive and living with a German family on the Algarve.” They do not name the Portuguese woman, but report she saw the by-now teenager in a supermarket just 40 miles from where she disappeared speaking German.

     

    Further muddying waters, they claim the witness cannot actually remember when this incident occurred with the unnamed woman stating: “It was three to four years ago, I can’t be sure exactly,” whilst adding: “When I looked at her eyes, I was sure about what I saw.”

     

    Firstly, one has to ask why not only has this woman not been actually been named and secondly, why she did not mention this earlier? As has so often occurred in this case, this supposed ‘development’ seems far-fetched, yet it has ludicrously attracted significant amounts of media coverage.

     

    Given the combined £2.5 million reward that was originally offered by amongst others Sir Richard Branson and Sir Philip Green, social media users reacted to this unsubstantiated ‘news’ with scepticism with one Twitter user, Andrea Maria Preston, stating:

     

    “Someone else who hasn’t tried to claim the reward. All these people who have sightings/concrete evidence etc. yet don’t want the money.”

     

    She has a point and what also should be remembered is this: If Madeleine McCann were alive and wandering around shops in Dale Winton’s Supermarket Sweep style fashion, wouldn’t someone else have noticed?

    According to the former British ambassador to Uzbekistan turned activist and human rights campaigner Craig Murray, when Madeleine McCann went missing on 3rd May 2007 “New Labour’s No. 10 saw, in typical Blair fashion, a highly photogenic tragedy which there might be popularity in appearing to work on.”

     

    Guided by the “Prince of Darkness at the heart of New Labour” with “his dark satanic looks” and “his Machiavellian meddling,” the political party Peter Mandelson ever so brilliantly guided (in terms of electoral success) knew the value of such and they well and truly milked it in the matter of McCann.

     

    As Andrew Marr pointed out in his History of Modern Britain – screened on BBC Four last night – in his example, highlighting the case of the senseless murder of the innocent toddler Jamie Bulger by two truly evil teenagers during John Major’s premiership – Madeleine McCann’s disappearance occurred just a month before Blair left office and Gordon Brown took over. News of it dominated the media during the transition period.

     

    Defining the Brown years – during which Peter Mandelson was a government minister from October 2008 until May 2010 – in terms of the vast acres of pages devoted to the case and garnering disproportionate attention from government thus, as Murray pointed out: “British diplomatic staff were under direct instruction to support the McCanns far beyond the usual.”

     

    Mandelson had his finger on the pulse with the McCann story then and today the proof of its usefulness is still in the pudding by way of the fact that it wiped other ‘bad news’ stories off the front pages in the last week. Equally, as has been the case with the renewal of interest in Prince Andrew’s “has he or hasn’t he” cooperated with the investigations into Jeffrey Epstein in the last 24 hours, here are matters that show that the Mandelson style of media management haven’t moved on.

     

    One rather conveniently unavailable person who links the ‘players’ in these matters is still apparently missing in action. Again, this morning, we again join those asking: “Why doesn’t Ghislaine Maxwell finally come forward?”

She has never been found, but, speculation online (entirely unproven as accurate thus far) has regularly included: “She looks remarkably like Ghislaine Maxwell.” There is no suggestion that this is one and the same woman, but it would be ever so helpful if Miss Maxwell came forward and cleared this up for once and for all.

    A child supposedly disappears every five minutes in the UK yet the only instance the media ever focus on is Madeleine McCann.

     

    Having hung out with Donald Trump’s bestie Theresa May and the equally ghastly Lady Meyer in Downing Street in May 2012 plainly helped the cause of Gerry and Kate McCann. Police investigating the case have just been awarded a further £154,000 in addition to a sum of £85,000 in March this year. A total of over £11 million has been spent thus far on the unsuccessful search for the child and what has been achieved? The answer is clear: Absolutely nothing.

     

    Whatever the merits of the suggestions of those who’ll continue to claim that any lead is worth pursuing, one needs to remember that every pound allocated to looking for one child that disappeared in 2007 is a pound that could be used to fund the search of another investigation. Undoubtedly now, given that no tangible evidence has been found that Madeleine McCann is still alive, it is time for this plainly pointless search to stop.

When the contest was announced back in May, the public, represented best by ‘Brenda from Bristol’, told her: “Not another [election]. Oh for God’s sake, I can’t honestly… I can’t stand this”, but on this Lady Macbeth-like harridan blundered.

    Philip and Theresa May – a bumbling ‘Wallace & Gromit-like’ duo unsuitable for the task of steering our nation through Brexit and beyond

     

    Appearing on the BBC’s One Show with her garden gnome-like husband, Philip, foolish Mrs May car-crashingly joked about whose responsibility it was to take the bins out – there are, after all, “boys jobs” and “girls jobs” – and kept repeating her mantra of “Strong and Stable”. It was no longer about parties, it was “Theresa’s Team” but what the nation rightly came to understand her as was as one of the worst Home Secretary’s in modern history. Here, indeed, was a woman who’d closed our police stations and here was one who’d shut our fire stations; here was a woman whose friendship with the McCanns had resulted in them getting £11 million for their pointless search and here was a woman whose inquiry into historic abuse cost £100 million, yet, again achieved nothing for victims.

     

    Though, surprisingly, for once, former UKIP’s former leader Nigel Farage got it right in stating: “The vicar’s daughter came across as insincere and establishment… Jeremy Corbyn fought and an amazing campaign and came across well”, it took Labour’s Tom Watson to sum up the mood of the nation when he remarked: “She said she was strong and stable. The public saw she was weak and wobbly”.

     

    The Tory leader shot herself in the foot yesterday and as Paddy Ashdown concluded: “Mrs May: Enough is enough”. Let’s now put the rubbish out and let’s consign Theresa May to the bin bag of history.

    Theresa May’s gamble to go to the country will likely pay off, but is it good for Britain?

     

    Theresa May supposedly decided to go call a snap election after a trip to church and a walking holiday with her garden gnome-like husband, Philip, in Wales over Easter. She has taken a gamble but given that Sky News are projecting the Tories are likely to win 44% of the vote against Labour on 23%, it is one that will likely pay off.

     

    Unsurprisingly and in a coward-like fashion, Mrs May has declined to partake in television debates but given her opponent Jeremy Corbyn is so hopeless, it would take only a calamity to unsettle any chances of her winning. Only the left-leaning Mirror is backing Corbyn and in spite of the Liberal Democrats likely to make a number of gains in the south-west, May will certainly hit Labour hardest.

     

    Mrs May, however, is not good for Britain. Since taking office last year, she has performed eight U-turns on policy and as Home Secretary she was a total disgrace. One only has to remember that this is the woman who closed the police stations and this is the woman who closed the fire stations. This, also, is the politician who wastefully funded her friends Gerry and Kate McCann’s search for their missing child to the tune of £11 million and this is the woman whose inquiry into historic abuse has cost £100 million and delivered nothing.

     

    Lady Macbeth-like May is a self-serving woman and she is not a good premier. This power grabbing vicar’s daughter’s about turn on Brexit is bad for Britain and her harshness towards immigrants is bad for business. She must be stopped and we urge our readers to vote for anyone but her on 8th June.
