Dan Bilzerian (AKA “Blitz”)
A true player, this Floridian professional gambler and venture capitalist suffered three heart attacks by the age of 30. Thrown out of the US navy for swearing at an officer, Dan Bilzerian is a badboy who now wants to rebrand himself as “the gentleman of poker”. He has a colossal 4 million followers on Instagram and regularly uses the site to post images of himself with female fans and of his extensive gun collection. In one, he commented: “My greatest fear is that someone will break in and I won’t be able to decide what #gun to shoot them with”. Bilzerian’s cars feature the number plates “SUCK IT” and “MR GOAT”. -

With over 500,000 followers on Twitter, James has set the record for the fastest selling paperback of all time yet modestly stated: “The explosion of interest has taken me completely by surprise”. -

In the forthcoming edition of Vanity Fair, Monica Lewinsky candidly writes about her affair with President Clinton. For The Steeple Times news of this has seen a huge spike in traffic as interest in our “Where are they now?” on the world’s most famous intern has once again caused that feature to trend.
The forthcoming ‘Vanity Fair’ article by Monica Lewinsky: “Shame and Survival” In the article, Lewinksy states:
“It’s time to burn the beret and bury the blue dress… I, myself, deeply regret what happened between me and President Clinton. Let me say it again: I. Myself. Deeply. Regret. What. Happened”.
Lewinsky adds that she thinks that:
“[It is time to stop] tiptoeing around my past—and other people’s futures. I am determined to have a different ending to my story. I’ve decided, finally, to stick my head above the parapet so that I can take back my narrative and give a purpose to my past. (What this will cost me, I will soon find out.)”.
Monica Lewinsky – who also states that her current goal “is to get involved with efforts on behalf of victims of online humiliation and harassment and to start speaking on this topic in public forums” – deserves a break: The world has moved on since the tawdry events of 1995,1996 and 1997 and it is time that we allowed her to do the same.

Archibald Hall (AKA Archibald Thomson-Hall, Roy Fontaine, the Killer Butler and the Monster Butler, 1924 – 2002)
A bisexual conman, thief and serial killer who targeted the aristocracy. Hall was born in Glasgow and took elocution lessons during his first of many stints in jail. He variously pretended to be an Arab sheikh, a Lord and Sir George Aylwen and claimed to have had affairs with Lord Boothby and the playwright Terence Rattigan. He published his autobiography, The Perfect Gentleman, in 1999. In it, this crooked murderer stated: “There is a side of me, when aroused, that is cold and completely heartless”. -
Clarissa Dickson Wright (1947 – 2014)
This outspoken bon vivant was Rector of the University of Aberdeen from 1998 to 2004. One half of the “Two Fat Ladies”, Dickson Wright was known as “Krakatoa” because of her fiery temper and became the country’s youngest barrister at 21. She once had sex with an MP behind the Speaker’s chair in the house of Commons, offended the animal rights lobby by suggesting that Britons should eat badgers and was bankrupted thrice. Her full name was Clarissa Theresa Philomena Aileen Mary Josephine Agnes Elsie Trilby Louise Esmerelda Dickson Wright. -
