    After claiming she’s lead by God over Brexit, Theresa May bizarrely gets the backing of Kate Bush

     

    On Sunday, Theresa May told The Sunday Times Magazine that her Christian faith is guiding her decisions around Brexit and also spoke of how leaving the EU keeps her awake at night.

     

    Yesterday, in Maclean’s Magazine, a Canadian publication, the reclusive musician Kate Bush described piled praise on Theresa May and announced:

     

    “We have a female prime minister here in the UK. I actually really like her and think she’s wonderful. I think it’s the best thing that’s happened to us in a long time. She’s a very intelligent woman but I don’t see much to fear. I will say it is great to have a woman in charge of the country. She’s very sensible and I think that’s a good thing at this point in time”.

     

    News that Bush, previously a fan of Ken Livingstone and the writer of a song that stated: “Ken is the man that we all need”, shocked the likes of The Guardian and The Independent’s Geoff Norcott, but unsurprisingly, the majority of the fans of this singer-songwriter and supporter of changing to a bartering economy’s typically left-wing fans won’t be Running Up That Hill in support of her new found conversion.

    Yet another departure from the £100 million inquiry into historic abuse proves Theresa May’s incompetence

     

    #DarthVader Theresa May has done it again. Already onto its fourth chairwoman due to three prior appointments having had to have been ended, the £100 million inquiry into historic abuse was plunged into chaos yet again yesterday with the shock suspension of its most senior lawyer, Ben Emmerson QC.

     

    Reports suggest Mr Emmerson – who, like the various chairwomen, was appointed by Theresa May – had had a disagreement with the chair Professor Alexis Jay about the inquiry’s colossal workload. Whilst he allegedly wanted to scale back the scope of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), others, including the Home Secretary Amber Rudd, wanted to stick to its original terms of reference.

     

    In response, Andi Lavery, of the Catholic survivors’ group White Flowers Alba – which represents 70 alleged victims – commented:

     

    “This can’t carry on without him. It has only existed because of Ben Emmerson. He has been the glue holding everything together. If he leaves, the victims’ groups will leave. Most have lost confidence already. This inquiry has been a sham, a charade. Theresa May made a lot of promises, she has not kept one of them”.

     

    Just as with the £12 million Mrs May has wasted on the investigation into the ‘disappearance’ of Madeleine McCann, here is another fine example of how hopeless our new Prime Minister truly is. This ridiculous woman is coming to resemble a modern day version of the captain of the Titanic.

    That the police have ended forensic work into the search for “missing” Madeleine McCann speaks volumes about Theresa May’s sheer lack of judgement

     

    Yesterday, The Sunday Mirror reported that all forensic work into the search for “missing” Madeleine McCann is to stop. In doing so, British police have only confirmed all that we all already knew: This was an investigation that should have ended years ago and it is a disgrace that our new Prime Minister #DarthVader Theresa May continued to fund it so extravagantly and for so long.

     

    Organised by Scotland Yard at the ridiculous cost of £12 million thus far (whilst searches for other missing children get next to nothing), Operation Grange is something that our former Home Secretary Theresa May surprisingly took beyond excessive interest in. She hosted a party in Downing Street attended by Madeleine McCann’s parents in Downing Street in 2012 with the “Chanel-clad” Lady Meyer and in the time since she has continued to be involved via charities called PACT and Action Against Abduction. Separately, Mrs May most recently approved an additional payment of £95,000 to fund the continued investigation into the “disappearance” of the missing child – whose parents paid for child care in the daytime but not at night back in 2007 – in April this year. The activities it funded achieved nothing.

     

    It is simply a disgrace that such a large sum has been squandered on a hunt for one child and though Mrs May wasn’t involved from the very beginning of this somewhat curious story, it is something that has primarily been dealt with in her domain in office. Shame on her: Like with her appointment of three inappropriate individuals in succession to chair the investigation into historic abuse, this represents yet another fine example of her pathetic ability to judge the difference between the right and wrong course of action.

    Theresa May to strip Downing Street of artwork in order to install her version of the ‘Ed Stone’

     

    On Tuesday, The Independent revealed that Theresa May is to “replace some of the artwork hanging in Downing Street with framed quotations of the speech she made upon becoming Prime Minister”.

     

    In the speech, May pledged to stand up against “the privileged few” and fight “burning injustice” but now rather like Ed Miliband with his pointless and much maligned stone, ‘Darth Vader’s sister’ has scored her first own goal given her lack of action against, amongst others, ‘Sir Shifty’ (AKA Philip Green).

     

    What next? Will Mrs May be displaying her garden gnome-like husband in Downing Street’s rose garden?
