The Lord Leonard and Lady Estelle Wolfson Foundation provides around £35 million per year “to support scientific and medical research, education and the arts” and this fellow of Emmanuel College, Cambridge; King’s College, London; University College, London; the Ashmolean, Oxford; Imperial College, London and the Royal Albert Hall is also a patron of the Royal College of Surgeons; a member of the Lord Major’s Appeal committee, a member of the Red Cross International & Scientific committee, the chair of the committee for Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital; a yeoman of the Worshipful Company of Apothecaries; a member of the Campaign for Institute of Physics and honorary president of Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem. How on earth does this stoic and generous lady find the time?

    Rolf Harris is a convicted paedophile with a difference. Unlike others sentenced for 12 counts of indecent assault, this millionaire prisoner avoided the usual humiliation of being sent to one of Britain’s toughest prisons, Her Majesty’s Prison Wandsworth.     Frank FurediThis Hungarian “former student radical” and emeritus professor of sociology at the University of Kent argued that historic abuse offences should effectively be swept under the carpet on Newsnight in July 2014. Faversham based Furedi – who is married to the CEO of the UK’s largest independent abortion provider – has previously bizarrely leapt to the support of Sarah Palin, attacked the scientific consensus on Global Warming and published a book titled “First World War: Still No End in Sight”. His supporters argue that his critics are just “jealous, small-minded and unable to engage politically or intellectually with the ideas he devises and promulgates on a cooperative, non-coercive basis” whilst he loftily sees himself as “the Lenin de nos jours”. That this academic, wannabe politician and author wrote a book describing the Jimmy Savile scandal as a “moral crusade” in 2013 about says it all. Frank Furedi is nothing more than a pompous, ridiculous man.
