    Giulio Andreotti (1919 – 2013)

Giulio Andreotti“He condensed good and evil. An extraordinary personality” was Pier Ferdinando Casini, head of the Italian centrist Democratic Center Union party’s description of this seven times Prime Minister of Italy. Andreotti was given many nicknames by his detractors. Amongst them were the monikers of Beelzebub, The Hunchbank, The Black Pope and Divo Giulio (after Julius Caesar). Andreotti, famed for ambushing Margaret Thatcher at a 1990 summit on the single European currency, once stated: “Power wears out those who don’t have it” and he certainly was accused of using his to maximum effect in support of the Mafia.

  • Brian Coleman

    Brian Coleman

Brian Coleman“Nice to see ya. Are you alright?” was this Independent Conservative’s answer when he was asked about his inappropriate behaviour outside a court. “He grabbed my arse” was the response of his victim. A former Mayor of Barnet, Coleman, who was expelled from the Conservative Party in October 2012, was fined £270 after pleading guilty to the charge in May 2013. In both 2009 and 2011 he was to be in breach of Barnet Council’s code of conduct and in 2007 he wrote a blog post for the New Statesman accusing the late Edward Heath of being into cottaging. Would you want him as a dinner party guest?

  • Barbara Walters

    Barbara Walters

Barbara WaltersThis dynamic American television personality and author was one of the first women to work in “hard news” and is best known for having hosted the Today show, the ABC Evening News, The View and 20/20. She grew up “in awe” of the famous people her father, a Broadway producer and nightclub owner, introduced her to, has been married four times to three different men and got chicken pox after ‘kissing’ actor Frank Langella at a New Year’s Eve party in Miami in 2012. Walters has interviewed everyone from Fidel Castro to Michael Jackson, but her March 1999 feature on Monica Lewinsky, watched by a record 74 million viewers, is indeed one for the history books. • The Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP

The Rt. Hon. Theresa May MP

She called the Conservative Party the “Nasty Party” in a speech in 2002 and now Theresa May makes for a pretty nasty Prime Minister herself. Gaffe prone May failed to appeal to the police in May 2012 when they heckled her at the Police Federation conference and was too busy hosting a party with Lady Meyer later that month to deal with problems at Britain’s borders. Ken Clarke once described her as “childlike”, Joan Collins has made a fool of her on Twitter and it is for dressing like Worzel Gummidge that this hectoring vicar’s daughter is known best. Please, someone, just shoe her out.
