Rabid ranter, author and brand strategist Arwa Mahdawi’s enthusiasm for goats and dislike of Johnny Depp shows her as ridiculous suggests Matthew Steeples

“It’s time we stopped telling women to act like men and started telling men to lead like women” reads a banner on Strong Female Lead author and New York based brand strategist Arwa Mahdawi’s Twitter handle.

Bizarrely, next, in her description of herself on the aforementioned social media site – which also includes a Linktr.ee promoting her book that is said to contain “incest in Iceland, garbage trucks in Taiwan and cuckoo clocks in Texas” – Mahdawi bangs on about “goat jokes” but claims her book is “not about goats.” She doesn’t, however, say whether she’s ever had an encounter with the Capreolus Club or whether she’s ever joined them to “take a break from deer” to slay such ruminant mammals in the north of England or Scotland.

Now, this morning in an opinion piece for The Guardian, in spite of Johnny Depp clearly having been very much victorious in his American libel battle against Amber Heard, Mahdawi declared that “misogyny is more alluring to many people than facts” and suggested that a “lot of unpleasant new information about Depp” has recently been revealed.

Going further, in a clearly biased rant against the Pirates of the Caribbean star, the columnist added: “It’s important to note that’s as if he looked like a boy scout in the first place… Depp has a well-documented history of toxic behaviour.” She then added: “There was a very long line of people ready to dismiss his bad behaviour while jumping on any excuse to paint Heard in a negative light.”

Though Mahdawi contined: “Heard endured merciless mocking and walked away with her reputation in tatters, while Hollywood largely rallied around Depp,” I will again stand by my article of 4^th May and again repeat that “though Depp clearly has issues and is far from perfect,” it is, as his own lawyer Benjamin Chew pointed out, Heard who is the abuser in this story.

After all, as I remarked then of Heard: “Here indeed is a woman who supposedly chopped off part of her husband’s finger, stubbed out cigarettes in his face and relieved herself in their marital bed. Reportedly ‘jealous’ of her husband’s fame and prone to ‘experiencing increased agitation… anger and rage’ according to her own personal nurse Erin Falati, here also is a troubled bisexual drug user with a ‘familial history of substance abuse… anxiety, eating disorder[s], Attention Deficit Disorder, bipolar disorder, codependence issues and occasional insomnia.’”

Aside from the kind of bag of bilge written by her this morning about the deserved victor in the Depp v Heard case, Mahdawi has penned many other columns that have been equally ludicrous. In 2019, she wrote a piece about air conditioning titled: “Is your home constantly set a ‘sexist’ temperature? You’re not alone: A new study finds men tend to get their way in household temperature discussions while women must compromise.”

‘The Guardian’ columnist begs people to “plz buy my book” on her Twitter feed. She has 17,700 followers but whether each and every one of them has actually bought ‘Strong Female Lead’ is unknown. The clearly patronising book was “published in paperback [on] 26th May 2022.”

What this somewhat crackpot crazy author’s views are on goat slaying and the Capreolus Club are also unknown, but what is sure she does like to bang on about these ruminant mammals rather a lot. God only knows why.

It’s not just Johnny Depp that uspets the columnist, brand strategist and author. She also declared “Ivanka Trump’s new haircut should make us very afraid” in one of her especially strange features. Of the daughter of the 45th POTUS, Mahdawi ridiculously declared: “If her family cares about anything, it is image. Her political bob (pob) may be an attempt to get us to take her ambitions more seriously.” Off-the-scale nonsense, clearly.

In suggesting “violence is the only answer left” when attempting to “end racism,” surely this rambling ranter went too bloody far? Nobody rational would sanction attacks upon others surely and that this gibberish got published is beyond ridiculous.

Illustrating herself as nothing but a wack job, this woman – described online as a “gargantuan hypocrite and the stereotypical media hack whose sole objective is to peddle propaganda” – wrote about air conditioning in November 2019. In it, she argued that “the thermostat dictator is normally a man.” Whatever will she argue next? Will she blame Hitler for climate change or will she suggest that Cilla Black is responsible for a rise in divorce rates?

Markle V Markle 2022 – Samantha Markle Wants £61k+ From Sister

As it looks set to go to jury trial, the defamation case of Samantha Markle against her sibling the Duchess of Sussex in Markle v Markle looks set to make the ‘Wagatha Christie’ case look like a walk in the park

The public have spent the first part of this year lapping up the ‘Wagatha Christie’ and Johnny Depp v Amber Heard defamation cases, but if it goes to plan Samantha M. Markle v Meghan Markle could become the truly most addictive legal ‘must watch’ of 2022.

Pitching the prospect of the Queen’s grandson’s wife, the Duchess of Sussex, appearing against her very own half-sister in a Tampa, Florida courtroom as a drama most definitely doesn’t require anything other than gleeful gloating and if it does occur, it will, quite frankly, be the ultimate sh*tshow.

Like watching a car crash, the Twitterati will no doubt be addicted. They will love the fact that the “private citizen” plaintiff, Mrs Samantha Markle, wants “in excess of £61,000 ($75,000 €71,000 or درهم275,000) exclusive of interests, costs and attorney’s fees” from her estranged ‘private when it suits’ sibling and that Prince Harry’s wife is being called out for “fake quotes against her sister.” That the pugnacious PR peddler Omid Scobie’s Finding Freedom is also being slammed as full of “false information” will be a veritable bonus.

Of that trashy tittle-tattling tome, the elder sister declares in her latest amended complaint submitted earlier this month:

“The book was used by the Duchess to affirm the false narrative that she portrayed to the Royal Family, that she supposedly lived a rags to riches storybook life. A life that took her from a humble beginning like that of Cinderella, to the wife of a Prince, a Duchess. She did not hesitate to strike back at what she mistakenly believed to be actions of Mrs. Markle, her older sister, against her.”

“She needed to distance herself from Mrs. Markle and to blame any and all issues on her. In the book Finding Freedom, in which the Duchess provided the information through her communications secretary, there is an entire chapter 12, starting on Page 310 entitled A Problem Like Samantha which defamed Mrs. Markle and falsely describes her ‘ploys’ to gain notoriety and money from her relation to the Duchess.”

“It stated as fact: ‘The trouble began with Samantha Markle. Meghan’s romance with Harry had hardly been public a full 24 hours when her half-sister sensed an opportunity. Never mind that she hadn’t seen her estranged half-sister in more than a decade. Samantha – who had changed her name from Yvonne and died her hair a fresh shade of blond…’”

“The false and defamatory statements which follow not only caused harm to Mrs. Markle financially in her professional occupation as a mental health counselor, but also subjected her to incomprehensible amounts of public scrutiny causing her mental health and well-being to deteriorate.”

Going further, the plaintiff calls out other supposed lies and falsehoods and claims her health and reputation have suffered immensely. She adds that the Duchess of Sussex “instilled anger in her fan base against [her]” and that this “caused substantial, irreparable prejudice, injury and harm.” She suggests that she “receives hateful emails and messages on a regular basis, is subjected to ongoing negative media portrayals, news articles, nasty negative press, and her reputation has been so damaged that she has been unable to work as a mental health counselor.”

Aside from having had to “seek and obtain an ‘Injunction for Protection Against Stalking’ in Polk County, Florida against one of Defendant’s zealous fans,” here is a woman who claims to suffer “emotionally from the worldwide hatred, contempt, and ridicule that she is forced to endure” and now she’s quite rightly fighting back.

If the Duchess of Sussex and her decided drip of a husband had any sense, they’d now do one thing: They’d man-up and make amends with both their families and bring them into the fold. That, however, would be too sensible, so, of course, they bloody well won’t.

In choosing to be the chief tin banger for the ‘Sussex Squad,’ Scobie will go down in history only for one thing: Being on the wrong side of history. The public have seen through him and they’ve seen through the rotten royals who have done nothing but damage to the monarch, her first born son and Prince Harry’s elder sibling. Shame on him.

This is going to be a case that could will send shockwaves on both sides of the pond. It will be nothing but a sh*tshow between a woman clearly incapable of understanding the art of diplomacy and a half-sister she’s most definitely thrown under the bus. Whatever the outcome, that this has even reached this stage just proves that the Duchess of Sussex is nothing but a selfish sleazebag who is very, very, very badly advised.

A Pirate Prospers – Victory for Johnny Depp

‘Pirates of the Caribbean’ star Johnny Depp’s victory was deserved; it is now time for Amber Heard to be dragged back to Britain to face perjury charges

Johnny Deep v Amber Heard (Round Two) was always going to be car crash viewing. Like Rebekah Vardy v Coleen Rooney though with a bit of added crack and cocaine, this was a defamation case that frankly should not have been heard but also one that illustrated that self-serving vanity generally leads to self-deserved destruction.

As was seen when Vardy was most definitely kicked into touch in the witness box, the crocodile tears of Heard will now go down in history as representative only of someone of warped mind and wicked motive. Here was a woman whose lies have come back to haunt her and here is someone whose name will now forever be mud.

Supported by amongst others Javier Bardem, Kate Moss, Winona Ryder and Sia, Depp – admittedly a man with flaws that must be acknowledged – was not only the victor in the courtroom. He won legions of fans on social media and now though The Guardian’s Andrew Pulver suggested that the careers prospects of both will continue to suffer, I’d argue it’ll be quite to the contrary for Depp.

Currently enjoying life to the full on a tour of Britain with guitarist Jeff Beck and singer Sam Fender and clearly making the most of life, the Pirates of the Caribbean star is now £6.66 million ($8.35 million, €7.81 million or درهم30.67 million) richer and deservedly headed to a pub in Newcastle to neck a pint or ten last night.

‘Anxious Amber,’ meanwhile, may now feel “disappointment,” but in falsely claiming this verdict “sets back the clock to a time when a woman who spoke up and spoke out could be publicly shamed and humiliated.” Instead of accepting the decision and moving on, she ludicrously whinged:

“I believe Johnny’s attorneys succeeded in getting the jury to overlook the key issue of Freedom of Speech and ignore evidence that was so conclusive that we won in the UK.”

“I’m sad I lost this case. But I am sadder still that I seem to have lost a right I thought I had as an American – to speak freely and openly.”

Ending with a far more dignified statement, Depp simply concluded:

“The best is yet to come and a new chapter has finally begun.”

“Veritas numquam perit.”

“Truth never perishes.”

It is now time for Amber Heard to be dragged back to Britain and charged with perjury for the clear lies she told at the Royal Courts of Justice; it is now time also to remember that Johnny Depp – who showed his positivity and unbeat personality in saying: “Life’s pretty good, and why wouldn’t it be? I’m a pirate, after all – is a talented man who deserves to once again be left to focus on treading the boards.

On Twitter, Nick Adams joined the vast majority in rightly concluded that this was a victory “for all men who have been wrongfully accused of sexual assault.”

Others amended the statement of the haranguer Heard and called her out for what she genuinely, truly, most definitely is – an out and out liar.

Mocking the likely next chapter for the mendacious minx, one website suggested this decidedly deviant’s net worth now to be -$10 million. Her career deservedly in tatters, her reputation in ruins and her future prospects panned, here is someone who should have long ago learnt the art of silence. Instead, here was an attention seeker with more front than Brighton who finally got what she deserved. It is time for this wicked woman to now disappear.
