Nobody Should Be Above the Law
Author Kirby Sommers starts a petition suggesting “nobody should be above the law” in the context of the Prince Andrew v Virginia Giuffre civil case

As we’ve said before, Kirby Sommers – the author of Ghislaine Maxwell: An Unauthorized Biography – is a crusading force and now, this weekend, she’s started a Change.org petition regarding the civil case between Virginia Giuffre and Prince Andrew.

Focusing her efforts this time on the suggestion that “nobody should be above the law,” not even the son of the Queen, Sommers quite rightly asks the judge in the case, Lewis Kaplan, to allow the course of justice to run rather than being dismissed.

It comes just as the Duke of York claimed Giuffre’s lawsuit “baseless” and as having caused him to become “the latest collateral damage of the Epstein scandal,” but ignores several key facts that the royal has to date avoided explaining. Amongst matters he has thus far failed to deal with are:
- The photograph taken at the home of Ghislaine Maxwell featuring Virginia Giuffre – then known as Virginia Roberts – with Prince Andrew on 10^th March 2001 has never been proven to be anything but genuine. Even, the alleged mucky madam’s brother, Ian, has described the setting of the image as “genuine.”
- During Prince Andrew’s disastrous BBC interview with Emily Maitlis, he denied having even having met Roberts in spite of the fact that said photograph clearly showed to the contrary.
- In addition, the duke’s claim that he did not go to Tramp nightclub that night and danced with the then Miss Roberts has been called into question by an independent witness, Shukri Walker.
- Going further, if the non-sweating, Pizza Express loving royal would like to see this legal matter properly cleared up to the satisfaction of his alleged victim, himself and the general public also, he should face upto it rather than behaving like a guffawing, petulant child.
Today, we urge readers of The Steeple Times to sign the Change.org petition and we also suggest it is time for the Duke of York to stop “victim shaming,” man-up and finally head to America.

On Twitter also on Saturday, Kirby Sommers also stated: “For those of you who do not know. Human trafficking is illegal no matter the age of the person. Sexual human trafficking is illegal. Again, no matter the age of the person. The only way Virginia had to sue Prince Andrew as the Child Victims Act.”

The Duke of York’s November 2019 BBC interview with Emily Maitlis about the allegations against him concerning his friendship with croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein and alleged mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell resulted in him becoming both a laughing stock and the loss of his royal roles. It brought shame on his family and turned him into an international embarrassment whose ability to be honest quite deservedly has been repeatedly questioned.

Are You Being Served?

As Prince Andrew is served with legal papers by Virginia Giuffre, we remind the rotten royal that worse could deservedly still come

“Just a Prince Who Can’t Say No!” was a song performed on the second episode of Spitting Image in 1984 and now it seems that the rotten royal that it pilloried hasn’t been able to say such to process servers of legal papers for Virginia Giuffre.

Supposedly presented with documents on 27^th August, ‘Randy Andy’ is now supposedly claiming the documents were not correctly presented and is allegedly going to seek to have the civil case against him – due to begin on Monday – thrown out on the basis of various technicalities.

However, as much as he may try, the decidedly deviant, non-sweating Duke – a man known also for having taken all sorts of incentives from dictators and despots – now likely faces worse to come. Considered a “person of interest” by investigators in the Ghislaine Maxwell criminal case in America, Prince Andrew’s strategy is clearly not working, but is that surprising?

Stuck in the hapless hands of such people as the pugancious PR peddler James Henderson – whose former firm, Bell Pottinger, was ultimately bankrupted over a scandal over its definitely dubious unethical, racist campaign in South Africa – courtesy of his dumber-than-dumb live-in ex-wife, Jeffrey Epstein’s one-time bestie needs to today do the right thing.

‘Randy Andy’ simply now needs to man-up and head to America and answer the very questions he’s so long sought to avoid. Unless he does such, all he will do continue to bring shame on his mother – a lady of stature whose dignity undoubtedly still goes without question.

Give Up Ghislaine

After Ghislaine Maxwell has had bail denied FIVE times and last week lost a bid to dismiss sex trafficking indictment, she would do best to give up and seek a plea bargain

Most people, when in a hole, realise the folly of their ways and eventually stop digging, but the grubby alleged sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell is certainly far from most people.

A one-time ‘bestie’ of aristocracy, dynastic tycoons, politicians and royalty, this mucky madam has now failed in all five of her attempts to get bail. This is hardly surprising given she has been deemed a flight risk due to having multi-millions in assets, has been known to use pseudonyms to hide her identity and possesses multiple passports.

Last week, making matters worse and no doubt yet again annoying the US district judge presiding over her case, mucky madam Maxwell attempted and failed to get the case against her dismissed on the basis of the recent overturning of Bill Cosby’s sexual assault conviction.

Justifying why this was quite rightly kicked out, ABC News reported: “Judge Nathan said Ms Maxwell had not been promised she would not be prosecuted, as the Supreme Court said Mr Cosby had been.”

“The judge also rejected Ms Maxwell’s arguments that prosecutors waited too long to charge her with sex trafficking between 2001 and 2004, saying the US Congress’s 2006 elimination of the statute of limitations applied retroactively.”

“Lawyers for Ms Maxwell said her case was similar because she had been immunised under Epstein’s 2007 non-prosecution agreement with federal prosecutors in Florida, in exchange for pleading guilty to Florida state prostitution charges.”

“Ms Maxwell had testified in a since-settled [for an undisclosed sum] £36 million ($50 million) civil lawsuit against her by Epstein accuser Virginia Giuffre, and the lawyers said it was unfair for prosecutors to use that testimony to build their criminal case.”

“But Judge Nathan said the cases were not the same, and adhered to her April ruling that Epstein’s agreement did not bind the Manhattan prosecutors or cover accused co-conspirators.”

“Mr Cosby’s case ‘focused on whether prosecutors were required to honour a promise the court found to be clear in the absence of a formal plea agreement,’ Judge Nathan wrote.”

“’Even if this court agreed with the analysis in [Mr Cosby’s case], that opinion sheds no light on the proper interpretation of the NPA in this case,’ she added.”

Elsewhere, making matters even worse, meddling Maxwell – whom The Mail on Sunday today revealed has sold her Kinnerton Street, Belgravia mews house for £1.75 million ($2.4 million) to a “Hampshire-based property developer” Stuart Robinson with the help of the disgraced solicitor Malcolm Grumbridge – stuck her oar into the pending civil case against Prince Andrew in September.

Offering to give evidence on the royal’s behalf might seem to some as a generous act of continued friendship, but in fact it is of utterly no help at all to the stupidly silent Duke of York. Maxwell, facing trial herself in November is anything but a useful defence asset for him, really should keep her oar out and if she had any sense she’d stop getting the likes of Brian Basham and Jay Beecher from peddling nonsense and focus on saving herself from an 80-year sentence by just seeking a plea bargain. Like father, like daughter, given this stubborn woman’s past performance and arrogance, of course, she won’t.

Fergie’s Half-Truths

As Sarah, Duchess of York contradicts herself about cooking, we again ask: “Has ‘Fergie’ repaid the money she took from the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein?”

Described by the FT’s Henry Mance – whom had to endure three torturous hours with her to get what he called his “best attempt” at an interview – as a “conversational flash flood,” Sarah, Duchess of York shared all sorts of bizarre details about her “non-normal” life this week.

Amongst many clangers on her PR peddling tour for her latest book, ‘Farting Fergie’ declared: “I don’t cook, shan’t cook, won’t cook. I hate cooking.” Clearly, she has no recollection of having announced she was “so excited” to be writing a cookbook in September 2020.

Pressed on whether she goes to supermarkets ever, the rogue ex-royal replied that she “doesn’t have to” – a statement that contradicts a photograph published of her in Waitrose in Belgravia on these very pages in January 2020 – but yet again, this wacky woman also avoided the key questions about the financial affairs of herself and her Pizza Express loving, non-sweating ex-husband.

Again, today, we join those asking Sarah Ferguson to truthfully update her “no comment” response when asked if she had repaid the money and assistance she took from the late paedophile Jeffrey Epstein. Whilst most likely the word “comment” would thus be proved superfluous, just as her ex-husband likely now faces a court showdown in America in absentia with Virginia Roberts Guiffre, the public truly finally deserve some honest answers.

Given she now claims she doesn’t ever cook (and forgetting she was writing a cookbook in 2020 also), one has to be left asking what attracted her to make a visit to the store. Meanwhile, it now looks increasingly likely that the former Virginia Roberts could “whack” Prince Andrew – mocked up here as Jimmy Savile (right) – with a multi-million-pound civil lawsuit in New York as early as this week.

Elsewhere this week, Sarah, Duchess of York said she was “100 per cent” certain that her ex-husband was being honest when he denied participating in anything untoward during the time he spent with the since croaked taxi driver turned financier Jeffrey Epstein. Showing complete contempt for the alleged victims of sexual trafficking, she remarked: “I want [the Duke of York] to come through this. I want him to win… We support each other like pillars of strength.”

Yo-Yo-ing YouTube & Mucky Madam Maxwell

After reinstating ‘Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Channel’ yesterday, in yo-yo-like fashion it has now been taken down again; are mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s PR peddlers targeting his work?

Yesterday, YouTube did the right thing and reinstated crusading crime commentator Shaun Attwood to their channel.

Today, they reversed their decision after a concerted campaign by his critics and once again, this morning, the Shaun Attwood True Crime Channel has been “terminated for violating YouTube’s Community Guidelines.”

In a missive to Attwood, seen by The Steeple Times today, YouTube ridiculously justified their actions by stating:

“We have reviewed your content and found severe or repeated violations of our Community Guidelines. Because of this, we have removed your channel from YouTube.”

“We know that this is probably very upsetting news, but it’s our job to make sure that YouTube is a safe place for all. If we think that a channel severely violates our policies, we take it down to protect other users on the platform – but if you believe that we’ve made the wrong call, you can appeal this decision. You’ll find more information about the policy in question and how to submit an appeal below.”

Commenting this morning on Twitter, Ash Meikle, guest booker and lead researcher for Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Channel remarked of Twitter’s approach:

“Your inconsistencies, lack of clarity and general poor guidance for content creators needs revisiting. How can you reinstate a channel one day and remove it the next without explanation after apologising and saying it was a mistake? Complete overhaul of policies needed.”

Shaun Attwood is a good ‘citizen’ of YouTube and a respected educator about the perils and pitfalls of criminality. Proof of that is provided in the fact that ‘TedX Talks’ – which has 32 million subscribers – invited him to give a TEDx talk in January 2017. A video of that has been viewed 1.8 million times on YouTube and liked 39,000 times also. On that basis alone, YouTube should realise the error of their decision and reinstate this campaigner’s channel once again.

Responding directly to YouTube with yet another appeal, Attwood himself added:

“Yesterday, my terminated channel was ruled in compliance and reinstated due to a successful appeal. Today it has gone again for the same reasons. Here’s the appeal:”

“The violations revolve around news/educational coverage of high-profile sex-abuse cases documented in the media, e.g. Epstein. Your guidelines provide an exception for debating ‘high profile officials or leaders: Content featuring debates or discussions of topical issues concerning individuals who have positions of power…’”

“After the 1^st strike, I requested guidance from YouTube. None came. I visited Google HQ in London, only to be told to contact support. As a precautionary measure, I deleted 40% of my channel, almost 60 million views. I completely stopped covering the Epstein case, with no intention to resume. I educated my team on cyberbullying and interviewed a cyberbullying activist.”

“It goes against the spirit of YouTube to bombard a good citizen of 13 years with multiple strikes on old deleted videos.”

Clearly, as the mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell’s trial for the enticement of minors and sex trafficking of underage girls for her on-off paedophile lover Jeffrey Epstein approaches, her PR team are upping their efforts to silence those speaking out against her. Today, we ask: “Are Miss Maxwell’s well-connected supporters – whom number the pompous PR peddler Brian Basham and the potty political prattler Jay Beecher – attempting to put a stop to those covering her case?”

Today also, we urge readers to support Shaun Attwood in his efforts to permanently get his YouTube channel back by tweeting @TeamYouTube. Please ask them to explain why they have once again terminated Shaun Attwood’s True Crime Channel and please ask them to reinstate it.

Shaun Attwood is someone who has turned his life around and after serving his sentence in America has spent time educating others about why crime ultimately doesn’t pay. His YouTube channel is informative and its removal yet again illustrates that this social media giant isn’t policing its users in a fair or correct way. Attwood does not merit de-platforming; he should instead be promoted.

Attwood’s Unsilenced

In spite of efforts to stop his crusades against crime, Shaun Attwood has been quite rightly reinstated on YouTube today; he is now unsilenced and free to broadcast again

Whilst the thorn in the sides of the poisonous pair that are Omid Scobie and ‘MeGain,’ Duchess of Sussex that is ‘Yankee Wally’ quite wrongly remains banned from Twitter, this morning YouTube did the right thing in reinstating the crusading campaigner Shaun Attwood’s ‘True Crime Channel’ after taking it offline earlier this week.

Subscribed to by an astonishing 667,000 individuals and featuring everything from interviews with eccentric author and tellybox tattler Lady Colin Campbell to female armed robber Linda ‘The Black Widow’ Calvey, Attwood’s channel was temporarily censored this week on the completely false basis that it supposedly promoted cyberbullying.

Yet again illustrating that social media channels – including not only YouTube but also Facebook and Twitter especially – act irrationally over account management, the thankfully temporary closure of this widely respected channel illustrates the problem of the vast size of these organisations. With millions to ‘police,’ the result is that the likes of YouTube are unable to differentiate between genuine abuse of their platform and targeted campaigns to ‘take down’ particular individuals.

Cited amongst the cases that caused the “day of many strikes” closure was an interview with The Lost Boys star turned activist against child abuse Corey Feldman and also videos about Jeffrey Epstein and his wicked associates – including one featuring both the Ghislaine Maxwell: An Unauthorized Biography author Kirby Sommers and this publication’s very own co-founder, Matthew Steeples.

Now, however, quite rightly, the censorship of this informative channel has been stopped; Shaun Attwood is back and we look forward to yet more excellent content from this wise and witty gentleman.

The Widnes born author and activist took to Twitter on Saturday morning to announce his YouTube channel had quite rightly been reinstated after the social media giant reviewed his account. In a message to him, the firm stated: “After taking another look, we can confirm that [‘Shaun Attwood’s True Crime’ account] is not in violation of our Terms of Service. We have lifted the suspension of your account and it is once again active and operational… We’re sorry for any inconvenience or frustration this has caused.”

Recent interviewees on the channel have included the author Steve Wraith – whose books about his encounters with criminals were discussed in a 4 hour, 36 minute one-on-one that has been viewed over 15,700 times.

An especially fascinating interview on the channel premiered on YouTube on 20^th May May this year. Viewed over 26,800 to date, the episode featured Linda ‘The Black Widow’ Calvey discussing her debut crime novel, ‘The Locksmith.’ Described as “the true crime book of the year,” Calvey’s novel is listed as: “If you think you know everything about the East End’s toughest gangsters, think again. Meet Linda Calvey, aka the Black Widow. Growing up after the war in the East End of London, Linda falls in with local gangsters including the Krays, Freddie Foreman and Ronnie Cook. Fergie’s Foot F**k Ups

After the ‘Daily Mail’s’ Richard Kay shared what he knew of Diana, Princess of Wales’ non-reconciliation with Sarah, Duchess of York because of verrucas, we look at other examples of Fergie’s foot related f**k ups

Late last night, on what would have been the eve of the 60^th birthday of Diana, Princess of Wales, the rightly revered journalist and friend of the royal Richard Kay wrote about what he remembers of her 36^th and last birthday in 1997.

In a scorching article for the Daily Mail, Kay brought up not only Donald Trump and David Tang, but also referenced Prince Harry and Prince William’s mother’s animosity to her former sister-in-law, Sarah, Duchess of York that day – and revealed, once again, that it was caused by a row over foot infections.

Speaking of ‘verruca-gate,’ Kay remarked:

“Later that night, [Diana] called me again. Among the birthday cards had been a letter from Fergie. The two women, who had been through so much together, were now estranged.”

“The reason? Fergie’s autobiography in which she had written that she had once caught verrucas from wearing a pair of Diana’s shoes. There were other reasons, too, involving issues of trust.”

“The princess was furious and, ever since the book’s publication the previous autumn, the pair had not spoken. Until this point, nobody knew. But that night a newspaper was set to go public with the details.”

“A friend alerted Diana and she immediately abandoned the letter of thanks she was about to write to the duchess in which she said she was prepared to offer her friendship again. The two women, once so close because of adversity, were never to be reconciled.”

Going further and after taking money from the thankfully now croaked paedophile Jeffrey Epstein with the help of her other mate, the now incarcerated mucky madam Ghislaine Maxwell, the ‘Duchess of Downright Dim’ stuck her pork trotters in the proverbial in May 2019 whilst visiting Ontario, Canada. For the occasion, this ludicrous lush wore a not-so-ironic pair of pumps emblazoned with “never complain and “never explain.” Whilst she certainly had “foot-in-mouth” disease on that outing, it remains unknown if she had a verruca to go with them also.

It’s now time for one final thing for childlike ‘Farting Fergie’; it’s finally time to shoe out this ridiculous rotter before she shoves her terrible tootsies in yet another slurry pit.

On Thursday 20th August 1992, the ‘Daily Mirror’ shared what they called “the pictures they didn’t want you to see.” In them, a topless Duchess of York was shown having her toes sucked in the South of France by a Texan millionaire named John Bryan. Of the incident, the ‘Mirror’ later reported: “Royal writer Richard Kay claimed in the ‘Daily Mail’ that he received a message via pager from Princess Diana the night before the photos hit the newspaper stands.
