This stunning model also happens to be the mascot for Kensington’s Bodo’s Schloss and considers it her “home”. Marlborough educated Davies is signed to Elite London and can also regularly be found at Tonteria on Sloane Square. A true firecracker.

David Pun
Some websites list him as the “buying director” of Harvey Nichols but their official website curiously fails to include him. This bow tie wearer is often to be found at parties in London but on many an occasion organisers have expressed surprise as to how he got in. There’s even a Twitter account in his honour named “Where’s The Pun?” Of him, the handle suggests that he can found at “any party, anywhere”. -

All bankers are stewing in their own muck.
What phrase or word do you most loathe?
“Envy”.
In the UK, some people consider charity to “begin at home”. What’s your view and what causes do you personally support?
Too many people support charities for the wrong reasons. One must support a charity close to one’s heart rather than for superficial reasons.
The judge in Law Abiding Citizen states: “I can pretty much do whatever I want” before being blown up whilst answering her mobile phone. What’s your view on the appropriate use of such devices?
An unnecessary evil.

Jim Ruig
Jim Ruig with Frankie Dettori MBE If you could fill a carriage on The Orient Express, who would be your fellow passengers?
Matthew Steeples, Julia Gillard, Carlos Santana, John Cleese, Sigmund Freud, Pablo Picasso, and my son, Morgan so that he can witness it all. It’d be nice also to have Ralph Lauren and Axel Vervoordt as that would be just perfect.

I’d love a lamb shank on the Noosa Foreshore in Queensland. It’s a fabulous place and it would be divine.

Don’t be silly, alcohol doesn’t know what time it is.

I’d rather have a glass of good red wine.

The ones thrown by fabulous people who are creative, funny and innovative.
Who is the most positive person you know?
My son.
What’s your most guilty pleasure?
Polo.
If a tattoo were to sum you up, what would it be of?

Michelle Dockery
This Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actress came to prominence as Downton Abbey’s Lady Mary Crawley in September 2010 and is now considered “one of the most chattered-about women on television”. Born in Romford, Essex, Dockery has also appeared in television series’ including Heartbeat and Dalziel and Pascoe and films such as Anna Karenina with Jude Law and Keira Knightley. Of her future ambitions, she states: “I love singing live, actually. And I’m dying to sing in a role, whether it’s in a musical or a biographical film about a singer. It’s always been one of my aspirations”. In the meantime, the nation will continue to celebrate watching this rising talent as she morphs into Downton’s merry widow. -

Nietzsche, the German philosopher famously said: “That which does not kill us makes us stronger”.

Alex Preston
This talented Oxford educated author is a former credit derivatives trader who is now regular on BBC2’s The Review Show. This Bleeding City, his first novel, was based on his own working experiences and analyses how the financial crash could be seen as “our subconscious revenge, our way of bringing down the system that had ensnared us”. His second, The Revelations, was described by A. N. Wilson as a “strange and compulsively readable tale of City slickers seduced by a promise of spiritual awakening”. He predicts a bleak future for financiers in suggesting that we are still in the midst of “a crisis that will take more than a few bankers paying back their bonuses to solve”. -

The Royal Borough is alive with the taste of fondue
An evening of fondue at Bodo’s Schloss in Kensington
Bodo’s Schloss, a restaurant, bar and disco reminiscent of an Austrian alpine lodge, opened late last year and became an instant hit with the Chelsea set. For them and personalities such as Cameron Diaz and Gwyneth Paltrow, in fact, it’s rather like a little slice of Lech and Zürs has come to London.

Judy Finnigan
This former daytime television presenter is now a novelist who somewhat ambitiously compares herself to Dame Daphne du Maurier. Better known collectively with her second husband as just “Richard and Judy”, Judy Finnigan has been beset by rumours about her love of alcohol for many years. She didn’t exactly help put a stop to such by setting up a wine club whilst co-presenting Channel 4’s Richard & Judy show but having retreated to Cornwall to write, she now also “doesn’t want [to hear] comments about her looks anymore”. Here is an example of someone who would do well to follow the mantra of: “If you don’t like the heat, keep off the publicity trail”. -

He is rightly lauded as: “The greatest Englishman ever to compete in endurance racing”.
