‘The Daily Mail’ should apologise for their attack on the late Ralph Miliband
The Daily Mail has rightly come under fire for describing the late Ralph Miliband as “hating Britain” and using a picture (since removed) of his grave captioned “grave socialist”. It is time, instead of digging his feet in, that the newspaper’s editor, Paul Dacre, apologised. (more…)
Matthew Steeples suggests complaints about founders of ask.fm are unfounded
Ilja and Mark Terebin, the Latvian founders of ask.fm, have hit the headlines for sipping champagne and being pictured whilst at a wedding. That these successful businessmen have been pilloried for enjoying a glass or two whilst celebrating a happy occasion is ludicrous and the Mail Online should be ashamed to have so prominently featured this so called “story”. New £354,000 Route Master bus crashes on Chelsea Bridge Road on second day in service
On Saturday, on seeing one of Boris Johnson’s new Route Master buses on the Kings Road, I commented about how impressive this vehicle was. Little did I expect, therefore, that only a day later, the very same vehicle would have ended up in a six vehicle pile up on Chelsea Bridge Road. (more…)

On Saturday, The Sun proclaimed that the “special relationship” between Britain and America was dead. This morning, our sofa-loving former man in Washington, Sir Christopher Meyer, took the opposing view in The Mail on Sunday and suggested that it is “as strong as ever”.
