    In 1991, Alan Sked, a professor of International History at the London School of Economics, formed the Anti-Federalist League. In 1993, the organisation became what is now known as the United Kingdom Independence Party (UKIP) but after leaving what he came to see as a factionalised organisation in 1997, Sked has just formed a new party named New Deal.     On the 5th May, The Independent suggested that the former Conservative MP Neil Hamilton will stand for the United Kingdom Independence Party at the June 2014 European elections. This has neither been confirmed nor denied but today UKIP gained another well-known supporter when former sports television presenter Des Lynam endorsed the party.

    Gregory BarkerGregory Barker worked for Roman Abramovich at the Sibneft Oil Group and as Energy Minister, took his daschund, Otto, to work at the Houses of Parliament. A Conservative Member of Parliament between 2001 and 2015, Barker lives between Notting Hill and Sussex and is widely cited as the architect of David Cameron’s “green conservatism”.
