    Prince Chula Chakrabongse of Siam (1908 – 1963) – the “Little Prince” – was well known for his White Mouse Racing team in the 1920s, 30s and 40s. He spent much of his later life with his English wife, Elizabeth Hunter, in Cornwall and now with the sale of a 1960 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II, a buyer will get a chance to purchase a car that he once owned.     The Daily Mail has rightly come under fire for describing the late Ralph Miliband as “hating Britain” and using a picture (since removed) of his grave captioned “grave socialist”. It is time, instead of digging his feet in, that the newspaper’s editor, Paul Dacre, apologised. (more…)

Most famous for her international bestseller novel Labyrinth, Mosse is a lynchpin of the “Chichester set”. She has an honorary degree from her hometown’s university and set up the Chichester Writing Festival with her fellow writer husband, Greg. This author has written all of her books in a chair that she bought for £50 in a junk shop and is also a regular guest presenter for BBC Radio 4’s A Good Read.

She believes Osama bin Laden didn’t get a “respectful burial” and asked: “Why does anyone black, Asian or Arab ever vote Tory?” on Twitter in July 2013 before talking about the urinal her husband had “pissed in” at a pub in Loughton, Essex in August of the same year. A true mouthpiece, Alibhai-Brown is just the kind of person no right-minded person would ever invite to dinner.
