Moron of the Moment – Andre Walker

Braggart bigot Andre Walker disgraces himself in the wake of the London attacks and is rightly roasted on Twitter

Andre Walker – a “fat, northern… bit of a bruiser” with a penchant for branding The Steeple Times “fake news” – loves attention. He doesn’t care how he gets it, doesn’t care about what offence he causes and aside from wearing a ‘Make America Great Again’ baseball cap to a rally against the 45th POTUS earlier this year, this total pillock decided yesterday to share an image on Twitter of himself waving a cutlass sword on the terrace of the Palace of Westminster in the wake of the latest terror attack in London. It was accompanied by a provocative caption that read: “A bounty on my head. Any #ISIS terrorist that kills me gets £50k. I’ll give my address. No police. But I’ve got a sword. Good luck”.

‘Whackjob Walker’ – a former “political staffer” turned employee of the far-right Breitbart News rant sheet and more recently Jared Kushner’s New York based Observer – naturally wrote about why he opted to share the image in a column provocatively titled: “Today I Offered the Islamic State £50,000 to Kill Me”. Being, and here I won’t mince my words, a complete cock, he then delighted in the controversy he caused and remarked: “I love this” and “I’m up for it”.

Moron of the Moment – Braggart bigot Andre Walker disgraces himself in the wake of the latest London terror attack and is rightly roasted on Twitter.

Despite being forced to remove the highly insensitive image, which was rightly branded a “bizarre stunt” by the MailOnline, last week’s The Steeple Times ‘Wally of the Week’ Walker – whose previous moments of note have included being caught ranting on trains and involvement in the bullying scandal that resulted in the suicide of his supposed boyfriend, Elliott Johnson – remains unrepentant. On Sunday night, he bleated: “I don’t get why the left hate me for hating terrorists”.

A selection of responses from Twitter users to this Grade A buffoon’s idiocy follow:

    London

Donald Trump’s response to Saturday’s London terror attack was wholly inappropriate

After the recent attack on Manchester, we saluted Donald Trump for having “spoken for the majority” in referring to the evil suicide bomber as a “loser”. Last night, however, after a similarly evil assault on London, the 45th POTUS got it completely wrong when he took to Twitter to share his thoughts as to what had happened.

    At 12:17am, Trump tweeted:

We need to be smart, vigilant and tough. We need the courts to give us back our rights. We need the Travel Ban as an extra level of safety!

After immediate criticism about his immediate politicisation of a developing incident involving death and injury, Trump tempered his message a few minutes later at 12:24am. He added:

Whatever the United States can do to help out in London and the U. K., we will be there – WE ARE WITH YOU. GOD BLESS!

His response was deemed less than adequate and political commentator Iain Dale spoke for the majority when he responded:

Nice of our closet ally to express his sympathy and support at a time like this. Instead he uses this to make a political point. Wanker.

If Trump had reacted similarly to how he had over Manchester, he would have been lauded. Instead, he reverted to type and once again illustrated himself to be nothing but a buffoon. Shame on him and shame on the disgusting losers that attacked London.

Wally of the Week – Andre Walker

Whackjob former Tory activist turned Jared Kushner employed ‘journalist’ Andre Walker tells ‘The Steeple Times’: “In the words of Trump: ‘You are fake news’” (and then blocks us)

Andre Walker is of the Donald Trump school when it comes to dealing with situations he doesn’t like: This former Tory bullyboy turned Breitbart braggart and Jared Kushner employed Observer “lobby correspondent” thrashes around, shouts loudly and then throws his toys out of the pram.

On Tuesday, after being asked a series of questions about his role in the Conservative Party’s 2015 battlebus scandal via Twitter over a number of weeks, self-confessed “fat, northern… bit of a bruiser” Walker sent The Steeple Times a final tweet and then blocked us. It read:

“I have never run any bus of any description ever. In the words of Trump, ‘you are fake news’”.

Far-right provocateur Walker – whose career highlights have included being forced to resign as a political aide after being exposed smearing colleagues in 2010 and for his connections with the ‘Tatler Tory’ Mark Clarke and events that culminated in the suicide of another activist named Elliott Johnson in 2015 – then charmingly justified his move to his 78,000 followers:

“I’ve only ever blocked one person on Twitter but it’s got to be two now”.

    We’re honoured.

Kushner family exposed for promoting their links to the Trump presidency to flog flats (with visas) to Chinese investors

Yesterday, The Washington Post, in revealing that the Kushner family are hawking properties complete with investor visas, illustrated yet another appalling example of what is fast becoming the shadiest presidential dynasty in history.

According to the paper, President Donald Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner’s sister, Nicole Kushner Meyer, was in Beijing on Saturday to promote a New Jersey apartment complex named Kushner 1 to “a ballroom full of wealthy Chinese investors”. The event, which had been promoted with a brochure tagged: “Invest $500,000 and immigrate to the United States”.

Of the way in which the Kushner family behaved, Richard Painter, former chief White House ethics lawyer in President George W. Bush’s administration remarked:

It’s incredibly stupid and highly inappropriate. They clearly imply that the Kushners are going to make sure you get your visa… They’re [Chinese applicants] not going to take a chance. Of course they’re going to want to invest”.

Unsurprisingly, journalists found themselves evicted from the shindig. The Kushners’ reasoning? “The presence of foreign reporters threatened the ‘stability’ of the event. This is not the story we want”.

    The Busy Borwicks

Son of Kensington MP Lady Borwick’s curious connections to the people who ensured both Brexit and the election of Donald Trump revealed

On Sunday, Carole Cadwalladr of  The Observer published a lengthy and well researched article that, amongst other things, examined the connections between The Hon. Thomas Borwick – the son of the Conservative hereditary peer The Rt. Hon. The Lord Borwick and Kensington’s Member of Parliament Lady ‘Call me Victoria’ Borwick – and the controversial US hedge fund titan and backer of Donald Trump, Robert Mercer.

A director of a multitude of companies, in spite of being just 29 years old, “new media expert” Thomas Borwick – whose mother was forced to apologise “after using City Hall resources to promote her husband’s [now defunct] electric vehicle business” in 2009 – it now transpires, was not only Vote Leave’s chief technology officer but previously worked with SCL/Cambridge Analytica and AggregateIQ. Borwick currently touts himself to his 202 followers on Twitter as the founder of a political canvasing consultancy named Kan.to, an organisation that he boldy claims “will out-organise, out-plan, out-leaflet, out-twitter, out-work and out-vote all of its opponents”.

Mercer, one of the owners of the far-right Breitbart News Network as well as being a major shareholder in Cambridge Analytica, is a man whose “sinister” connections to both Trump and Nigel Farage have rightly been widely criticised. On that basis, that the son of fervent Brexiteer Lady Borwick – a woman whose constituents voted 69% to ‘Remain’ and whose domain was home to a greater proportion of EU nationals than any other London borough in 2016 – has links to this billionaire and his activities should only encourage the voters of Kensington to ditch her and her out-of-touch party.

We urge Kensington based readers to support Annabel Mullin of the Liberal Democrats on 8th June. This principled lady is the only person who can realistically unseat Lady Borwick and she is the only candidate who will support the beliefs the majority in this constituency continue to hold dear.

    Billionaire Battersea

Historic Battersea mansion for sale for the same sum it was marketed for in 2011; it has been mostly empty throughout the intervening period and was renovated by the late billionaire Malcolm Forbes

Billionaire publisher Malcolm Forbes was a man who liked to live large. He had a huge yacht named The Highlander, threw lavish parties across the globe and counted Gianni Agnelli, Gordon Getty, Calvin Klein, Robert Maxwell, Rupert Murdoch, Henry Kissinger, Ronald Reagan and Donald Trump as friends. This “mysterious collector” also owned numerous residences and one of these, Old Battersea House in London, is for sale for the same sum as it was marketed for in 2011.

Often seen with Elizabeth Taylor at his side and described as “living life in the fabulous”, Forbes purchased Old Battersea House in 1971. It had previously been home to and saved from demolition by Battersea Council by the eccentric author and ghost hunter Wilhemina Stirling. She took up a lifetime tenancy on the building in 1931 and used it to house artworks by her sister, Evelyn de Morgan (1855 – 1919).

Grade II* listed since 1954 and adapted during Forbes and subsequently his son Kip’s ownership to showcase a vast collection of Victorian art and antiques, Old Battersea House was built on Tudor foundations in 1699 and was at first known as ‘Terrace House’. It originally had gardens extending down to the River Thames and is rumoured to have been designed by Sir Christopher Wren (1632 – 1723).

Featuring “handsome classical proportions throughout” and standing within a 110-foot wide walled garden, the 10,100 square foot house includes 4 reception rooms, 10 double bedrooms and 7 bathrooms. It has off-street parking and a garden store but it is sadly overlooked by the adjoining housing estate that was built in its grounds in the 1930s.

  • The Downfall of The Donald

    The Downfall of The Donald

Could Donald Trump’s ‘Fall of Rome-style’ downfall be triggered by the actions of his very own family?

Donald Trump came to power promising to ‘Drain the Swamp’ of Washington. Thus far he’s made it bigger and though he might think appointing as many cronies and family members as possible to senior positions will protect him, these people could very well ultimately lead to his path to destruction.

The Western Roman Empire’s fall can be attributed to many factors, but key amongst them were distrust, corruption and overspending. Already, in spite of being in office for only two months, Donald Trump is already exhibiting characteristics of all three. Last week, when the Senior Senator Dianne Feinstein suggested the president would “get himself out of office soon”, she referenced Mr Trump’s sons, Donald Jr. and Eric, opening a new golf course in Dubai. She stated:

“I think sending sons to another country to make a financial deal for his company and then have that covered with Government expenses, I believe those Government expenses should not be allowed. We’re working on a bill that would [deal with] that now”.

Elsewhere, Cosmopolitan remarked on the businessman turned politician’s daughter Ivanka Trump and her “nepotism”. They commented:

“If Ivanka Trump were not the president’s daughter, would she be given a White House office to perform a job that has no description? Of course not. Don’t believe me? Just try calling the White House and asking if you can have some gratis work space at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave., one of the most coveted real estate properties on the planet”.

“Answers we need. And since Ivanka is taking advantage of taxpayer-funded resources, taxpayers have every right to ask to know what Ivanka is doing with them. Ivanka’s attorney told Politico she will serve as her father’s ‘eyes and ears’, a job description so vague, not to mention creepy, that it only functions to give the billionaire heiress cover to do whatever she, or her father, wants”.

“Ivanka will continue to pretend she’s a model for working women, applauding herself for having a ‘seat at the table’ with foreign dignitaries… Just remember she’s only sitting in that seat because her daddy let her. That’s not the case for the overwhelming majority of working women in America and we shouldn’t celebrate anyone for whom that is”.

Trump’s son-in-law, Jared Kushner, the immensely wealthy son of a felon named Charles Kushner, also presents many a problem. Though he has sold his vast business interests to his mother and brother, “some ethicists say the potential for conflict remains”. In January, Bloomberg remarked: “[Jared] Kushner seems likely to know where the money is invested. His father, convicted in 2005 of witness tampering, illegal campaign contributions and tax evasion, remains central to the company”.

Kushner, a man who has dined with everyone from Tony Blair to Nigel Farage, most certainly showed genius in guiding Donald Trump to manipulate social media on his road to victory. He and his cronies, however, could also be the very same people to guide the 45th POTUS’ road to downfall.

Billionaire living in New York might take a U-turn if a proposed skyscraper named the ‘Big Bend’ becomes reality

A 4,000 foot end-to-end conceptual skyscraper has been proposed in Manhattan in order to “potentially provide a solution to the height limitations imposed by city zoning laws” according to the anthropological New York website 6sqft.

Designed by the New York and Athens based studio Oiio, the “Big Bend” – as it has been endearingly named – would fit onto two narrow plots at its base and would provide luxury apartments aimed at high net worth individuals.

Of the proposed structure, on their website, Oiio state:

“If we manage to bend our structure instead of bending the zoning rules of New York we would be able to create of the most prestigious buildings in Manhattan. We can now provide our structures with the measurements that will make them stand out without worrying about the limits of the sky”.

Real estate developer turned 45th POTUS Donald Trump’s views on the design are unknown but his favoured adjective “beautiful” is something that comes to mind.

  • Cooking-Up a Cock-Up

    Cooking-Up a Cock-Up

As Donald Trump is criticised for dousing over-cooked steak in ketchup, we take a look at Theresa May’s preference for dining at the favourite restaurant of a paedophile and her lack of interest in the “absolutely meticulously” recipes of Delia Smith

In 2008, Theresa May told The Guardian: “I’ve knocked on Rolf Harris’s door and asked for his vote” and in the very same article the now Prime Minister also cited the since jailed paedophile’s favourite restaurant, Maliks Tandoori House in Cookham, Berkshire, as her own hangout of choice too.

The dining habits of top-drawer politicians came under scrutiny again earlier this week when Town & Country’s Sam Dangremond analysed Donald Trump’s preference for eating well-done steaks topped with ketchup. The 45th POTUS supposedly likes his meat to “rock on the plate” (according to his former butler) but in Britain, our somewhat clueless leader’s food choices are a little more specific.

Aside from loving Indian cuisine and her eponymous “red, white and blue Brexit”, Mrs May is a woman with a preference for a no doubt red, white (but not so blue) Kit Kat and recipes from the cookbooks of the throttled ex-wife of Charles Saatchi, ‘Highgella’ Lawson. In 2008, she remarked: “The other day I did a Nigella recipe for a mustard-and-caper sauce on purple-sprouting broccoli”.

The vicar’s daughter, it transpires, does not have Delia Smith’s books in her kitchen, however. Why? Not because the cook-turned-football-club-chairwoman is generally utterly smashed most of the time, but due to the fact she’s “absolutely meticulous”. The character of the government of Mrs May, thus, could be revealed in a cookbook; its title would no doubt be A Total & Utterly Unmeticulous Cock-Up.

    Jog On Jenner

Caitlyn Jenner proves herself to be truly hypocritical; it is time this self-publicist were simply ignored

Caitlyn Jenner is a person with nothing else on her agenda other than keeping herself in the public eye. This transgender ‘reality star’ appeared to support Donald Trump’s election campaign in 2016, spoke at the Republican National Convention last July and attended the Liberty Ball at Donald Trump’s inauguration. She did so because she thought hanging out with the 45th POTUS would generate headlines and boy did this linkup do just that.

The 67-year old former Olympian, now realising the swell of public opinion about Trump has turned very much for the worse, issued a video message Thursday criticising a decision to reverse President Obama’s transgender bathroom directive and termed it “a disaster”. She concluded: “Finally I have a message for President Trump, from, well, one Republican to another… You can still fix it. You made a promise to protect the LGBT community. Call me”.

Jenner – whose previous statements about politicians have included terming Hillary Clinton a “f**king liar” and stating that Trump “would be very good for women’s issues… I don’t think he’s out there to destroy women or take things away or do any of that kind of stuff” – is a hypocrite and motivated only by keeping her sorry clan’s money making machine on the road. It’d be best if she were now instead simply ignored.
