As singer Tulisa hits out at her conviction for assault, we urge her instead to learn to respect the justice system
Tulisa Contostavlos is best known for trashy tracks about “living on the edge of life” and has also sung lines such as: “Forgive us for what we’ve done, cause we young, we young, we young”. Today, though, this lippy singer didn’t show any desire to express remorse for her conviction for the assault of a blogger and instead angrily expressed her “outrage” outside Stratford Magistrates’ Court. Rolf Harris convicted
We were amongst the first to name Rolf Harris as a paedophile and with today’s unanimous verdict that found him guilty on all counts, we celebrate his conviction.
This revolting individual destroyed the lives of his victims whilst shamelessly courting the likes of Her Majesty the Queen. The fact that – like Prince Charles with Jimmy Savile – such people failed to have advisors around them to tell them that such people were monsters is what is entirely wrong. Shame on the lot of them: It is time that the British elite manned up.

Convicted of the 1985 murders of his millionaire adopted parents, his sister and her children at White House Farm at Tolleshunt D’Arcy in Essex, Bamber has always maintained his paranoid schizophrenic sister carried out the slayings before turning the gun on herself. Police incompetence and discrepancies with the evidence should be enough to at least allow a review of the case. Instead, this potentially innocent man rots. He communicates with those who campaign on his behalf via an official website whilst others support him on Twitter.

Jeremy Bamber’s conviction for the 1985 murders of his adopted parents, his sister and her children at White House Farm, Tolleshunt D’Arcy, Essex is again in question. New evidence has surfaced in a book by Andrew Hunter, a former Conservative MP, that, if proven, would indeed quash the case against Bamber for once and for all. (more…)
