A graduate of San Diego State University, this businessman was listed as being worth $2.5 billion by Forbes in 2014. Despite his wealth and power, Weiner’s money wasn’t welcomed by the then Democratic mayor of San Francisco. In 2009, Gavin Newsom returned a $25,000 donation to his gubernatorial election campaign from Weiner.
