Jules Bianchi (1989 – 2015)

Jules Bianchi (1989 – 2015)The Stirling Moss of his generation was tragically taken in his prime aged just 25. Nice born and the grandson of the three-time World Champion in the GT category Mauro Bianchi, Jules Bianchi was injured at the 2014 Japanese Grand Prix and became the first Formula One driver to be killed due to injuries at an event since Roland Ratzenberger and Ayrton Senna died at the 1994 San Marino Grand Prix. This “quiet, shy gent’s” legacy includes F1 chiefs having been forced to reassess their positions so that no race will start with a risk of running in bad light.
