Sir Christopher and Lady Meyer put their Chelsea townhouse up for sale for £2.3 million more than was asked when they bought it in 2013 – The catch? It’s next door to a kebab shop
London property prices have certainly gone up since 2013, but the “red-socked fop” former British ambassador to Washington Sir Christopher Meyer and his “Chanel-clad” wife, Catherine, are either onto something or rather greedy in asking some £2.3 million more than the £2.65 million that was asked for 17 Lincoln Street in Chelsea when they purchased it that year.
Though the couple have modernised the 1,921 square foot, Grade II listed property, the £4.95 million asking price sought for a two to three bedroom house next to a kebab shop seems rather steep. W.A. Ellis act as selling agents for this especially delightful duo.
