Currying May

curry

Isn’t it time for Theresa May to laud British boozers?

This week, our Home Secretary attended an event celebrating the culture of curry. In her speech, she ridiculously stated that Indian restaurants are more important to the British economy than public houses.

It is time that Theresa May showed her support for the hardworking publicans of Britain
May is well known for her love of curry

Mrs May is well known for her love of spicy food and nobody in their right mind would want to take that away from her. It would be good, however, if this woman could also show a little more patriotism and show a little support for traditional British boozers.

Pubs are closing at a rate of 31 per week and just 55,000 now remain open in Britain. They need the backing of such people as May and in that regard, isn’t is time for this Vivienne Westwood-clad woman to head to Coronation Street to pull a pint at The Rovers Return? Bet Lynch eat your heart out.
