Lord Brocket scores a success with his sausages

 

Lord Brocket is a man best known for having buried his Ferraris in his garden. They were far from bangers but the insurance fraud that followed resulted in him being jailed for fraud for five years. Now, Lord Brocket is involved with another kind of banger: the humble British sausage.

In the time since his release, Brocket has reinvented himself through appearances on various television shows and set up Brocket Hall Foods in 2006 after noticing that it was hard to find a good sausage whilst on holiday in France.

 

Brocket Hall sausages are produced using only outdoor reared pigs and feature an unusually high percentage of prime pork (63% to 82%). They come in a range of flavours ranging from traditional farmhouse pork sausages to pork and stilton, pork and leek, pork and black cracked pepper and pork and apple.

 

They are currently on the menu at The Enterprise in Chelsea’s Walton Street and will be at The Rib Room Bar & Restaurant in Knightsbridge from April.

    • I give him a lot of credit. I'm sure they're delicious, they'd go over big in the USA where they love aristocratic titles attached to quality products. Wow, I see it now "Charlie Brocket's Bar & Grill opens in LA"…..

    • Brocket is well suited to flogging sausages in pubs: after all, that's where the family made their money in late Victorian times....before buying their title with political contributions. The pre-war Nall-Cain was the model for nouveau riche lord in 'Remains of the Day'.
