Bargaining on a burger

Offers for Londoner’s during the London Underground strikes

Lobster-faced Bob Crow likes the high-life but it’s doubtful he’d be welcomed in any bar or restaurant in Central London today. Business for some may well be down due to commuters deciding to stay home, but equally many might feel like indulging after the struggle of fighting there way to get buses and taxis.

The Rib Room Bar

At two very different ends of the dining spectrum, two restaurants have cleverly come up with marketing ideas to reward those customers who make it to their venues.

Our favoured choice, naturally, is The Rib Room Bar’s offer of a free glass of wine, beer or soft drink to those purchasing a burger at their bar on 5th, 6th and 12th and 13th February. For just £14, this represents a great way to eat in the heart of Knightsbridge and we wholeheartedly recommend it.

Pizza Express might not exactly be described as luxurious but to reward their customers for conquering Crow, they are offering 40% off food bills in selected Central London restaurants on the 5th and 6th February.

Crow and his cronies may be bargaining on beating Boris. We’d prefer to bargain on a burger.
