The Tout’s tips for Royal Ascot 2015
Finally, the very best week of the year is upon us and the only depressing part is that it goes so fast and then there is another year to wait. This year, Royal Ascot promises to be very special indeed and The Tout has some confident selections following on from our first and second in The Derby.
Not knowing the ground conditions later in the week we will focus on the first three days as follows:
Tuesday: We have Solow for France in the opening race, Round Two in The Coventry and Gleneagles in The St James’s Palace but here you might also back Consort.
Wednesday brings us Ivawood in The Jersey and Eagle Top in The Prince of Wales. It is one of the toughest races of the meeting.
On Thursday, The Tout loves King of Rooks in The Norfolk and Mutarakez in The Britannia. It is always one of the larger fields but usually won by a horse of almost Group standard.
