Total Facebook ‘likes’ for three of Britain’s top football clubs is higher than the country’s total population
The population of Britain is approximately 63,900,000 people. The total combined ‘likes’, however, for just three of the top British football clubs on Facebook comes to an astounding 71,547,548:
– Arsenal – 15,908,679 likes
– Chelsea Football Club – 19,337,032 likes
– Manchester United – 36,301,837 likes
These ‘likes’, of course, incorporate the hugely international following these clubs have but nevertheless, this astounding statistic is indeed telling of how truly influential Facebook has become.
