Ross O’Connell Jennings

Ross O’Connell JenningsEdinburgh graduate Ross O’Connell Jennings aims to become the first man to play the bagpipes in all 196 independent countries in the world. Half Scottish and based in London, this educational and motivational speaking company employee and “aspiring television presenter” has been chased out of St Peter’s Square by Vatican police and picked up by armed guards on the border between Rwanda and the Democratic Republic of Congo. In March 2015, O’Connell Jennings – who acted as the personal piper to Alexander Salmond during his 2010 visit to Shanghai – told The Telegraph: “It sounds cheesy, but the more I travel the more I realise my music can bring people together”.
