Stella Creasy MP

Sty Rosamund Urwin: Labour MP for Walthamstow Stella Creasy. PHOThis rising star of the Labour Party entered the House of Commons in May 2010. Nicknamed “St. Ella” and referred to as “Labour’s most interesting Member of Parliament” by ConservativeHome, Creasy is widely tipped as a future leader and lauded for valiantly standing up to the “morons” who attacked her on Twitter. A Cambridge and LSE graduate who was formerly head of public affairs for the Scout Association, here is a bold lady who has also taken on the scourge of society that are payday lenders.

  1. So Stella Creasy is a rising star in the Labor Party. But how far will she rise? Is it possible that she will one day become prime minister of Britain? That is certainly the dream of any British politician and the most that a British politician can ever aspire to. She certainly has the poise to rise to the top. She is an extremely confident woman. Rarely does one see a woman with this degree of confidence. She is a formidable and gifted speaker who never shows any signs of hesitation. Her views have reached a high degree of maturity. But, at 36, she is young and very arousing. A rare combination of brain power and intense sexual appeal.

Twitter has lately provided her with a good amount of publicity, and publicity is what every politician craves. Her Twitter problems were essentially rape threats that she received. And while such threats are certainly illegal, they brought her sexuality front and center. A beautiful woman aspiring for higher office has to be voted into that higher office. And if men want to vote for her because she is a sexually desirable woman, she surely has no problems with that. Many men noticed her beauty long before the rape threats on Twitter. But there can be no doubt that the rape threats she has endured have made many more men see her as a sexual object. A highly desirable sex object. And one who is certainly worthy of their vote.

A very appealing woman indeed. But her rise to the top will surely depend on how politically astute she is. Her rise to power will not depend on British votes alone. She has to be a woman whom the United States can count on. A woman whom the United States can work well with. A tough and sexy woman must learn to be flexible. Flexible and accommodating.

Her brain power and sex appeal give her a measure of arrogance, as one would expect. But she cannot be arrogant when it comes to the United States. She has to be flexible. Flexible and accommodating.

She has to be willing to make the United States happy. Completely happy. Happy in every conceivable way. If she is willing to do that, the job of British prime minister is surely within her reach.

    • Considering the MA(not M.A. surely?) you boast of…. a very odd and inconsquential comment. Are you sure you are not some kind of weirdo?

  2. Stella and Ed are both frogs aspiring to be crocodiles. Arshad’s focus on her sex appeal is weird, unless he thinks that she is going to campaign in nothing but a “thong” to gain the male vote during the next general election. She will have secured Bill Clinton’s attention.

  3. Some commenters have seen fit to ignore serious topics and use the forum to attack women in politics through inappropriate personal attacks. It is unfortunate that some readers are unable to discuss women in politics in the same tone as they discuss male politicians. These comments are personal attacks and meant to discourage women from participation in positions of power in the government . It is sad that this is happening at this time.
The gentlemen above (Arshad Sherif) seems to only focus on women in political positions and singles them out for criticism using suggestive terms. This approach detracts interest from serious discussion.

  4. @ R Harris
There is no conspiracy against women in politics. Golda Meir was the best competent Prime Minister in Israeli history. Golda was not a self serving politician, her country and people were her first priority. There are so many female icons to admire, too many to mention. Women don’t need Liberal activists to lobby for their rights, women made it long time ago. They are competent and able to fight their own battles.

    • 100% agree….I have worked with and for a number of highly successful women. They don’t need to be patronised: they just get on with it.
