James Bay

James BayThis Hitchin, Hertfordshire born acoustic singer-songwriter declared that he “[doesn’t] want to be a prisoner in a hat” in an interview with The Independent’s Craig McLean in March 2015. James Bay was discovered by Republic Records – the New York division of the Universal Music Group – after a punter in a north London pub filmed him performing Move Together and shared it on YouTube. This Brighton Institute of Modern Music graduate describes his rise to fame as “a mad story” and has over 111,000 followers on Twitter.

  2. With his success and new found wealth, please could James Bay write a song for the Find Madeleine campaign? He could also donate but a song to support the efforts of dear Gerry and Kate McCann and the Find Madeleine campaign in their efforts to find their beloved daughter Madeleine McCann would really help raise awareness.
