Aby RosenThis Jewish real-estate mogul and contemporary art patron co-founded RFR Holding LLC with his childhood friend Michael Fuchs in 1991. Frankfurt born and Manhattan based, Aby Rosen owns and manages Manhattan’s best office properties including The Seagram Building at 375 Park Avenue and Lever House at 390 Park Avenue. He describes himself as a “dedicated philanthropist” and is involved in the Whitney Museum, Carnegie Hall and the Grand Central Partnership. His art collection numbers works by artists such as Francis Bacon and Damien Hirst and in September 2014 it was reported that he wanted to turn a 19,000 square foot co-op building at 1025 Park Avenue that was formerly owned by Gene Wilder into a single family residence. He “always keeps a couple of thousand bucks in [his] pocket” and “prefer[s] to entertain over lunch”.
