Gavin Newsom exposes the fallacy of Donald Trump’s ludicrous proposal to build a wall between the USA and Mexico
This week, the wannabe Governor of California Gavin Newsom released a 1:28 minute cartoon debunking the wannabe President of the United States of America Donald Trump’s plans to build a 1,900-mile wall on the border between America and Mexico. It is concise and clearly illustrates the fallacy of “Mr Make America Great Again’s” nonsensical proposal.
In the short, Newsom highlights that Trump’s vanity project will cost over $400 billion to implement and result in a loss of over half of America’s farmworkers and 6% of the total workforce. He points out that this ludicrous idea would cost the American economy $1.6 trillion and rightly shows how impractical it would be because of “rivers, mountains, tribal lands, private land and countless other challenges”.
Newsom concludes: “I’ll debate that plan anytime, anywhere”. We don’t imagine The Donald will be taking up the offer anytime soon.
