The business of marriage

The business of marriage - Donald Trump, Hillary Clinton, President Bill Clinton and Melania Knauss-Trump

Donald Trump makes a mockery of his own marriage vows after Hillary Clinton pathetically tries to make excuses about why she attended his 2005 wedding

Hillary Clinton happily joined Donald Trump and Melania Knauss in Florida in 2005 to celebrate their marriage but now she is vying with him to be President of the United States of America, the wannabe Democrat candidate made her twit of herself by trying to claim she just attended to witness a bit of “entertainment”.

On Monday, when asked why she opted to be at the ceremony, Clinton remarked:

“I happened to be planning to be in Florida and I thought it would be fun to go to his wedding because it is always entertaining. Now that he is running for President it is a little more troubling”.

In his typical bashful fashion, Trump responded by stating: “Hillary Clinton, I said be at my wedding, and she came to my wedding. I gave to a foundation [The Clinton Foundation] that frankly, that foundation is supposed to be used for good. I didn’t know her money would be used on private jets all over the world”.

Later, Clinton’s campaign communications director Jen Palmieri weighed in and added: “It hurt her feelings, I’m sure, to hear him suggest that he didn’t want her there for her company”.

Weddings are meant to be joyous occasions where friends and family come together to celebrate a union and in justifying that she only attended Trump’s wedding for a bit of a laugh, Hillary Clinton simply has made a mockery of an institution that should actually be revered. That Trump invited Clinton purely because he’d given her money, equally, illustrates that he treats his marriage with a similar level of disdain.

Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton are a duo who plainly consider their own marriages as business relationships and political unions respectively. Shame on them: The Donald – 0, The Clinton – 0.
