With views across countryside to the River Ehen, this mid-terraced house will be auctioned on 6th February 2013 at the Swallow Hotel in Preston, Lancashire.
The market town of Egremont itself is at the foot of the Uldale Valley and Dent Fell and features a wide main street, two supermarkets and a castle. The Egremont Crab Fair, one of the oldest fairs in the world, has been held in the town every September since 1267 and is famous for festivities including street dancing, gurning and grease pole climbing.
Often one reads of cheap terraced houses in deprived places like Blackburn and Tyneside, but this property’s situation is plainly a little different.
