Northern businessman offers £1 million to the Conservative Party (if they get rid of Theresa May)
Today, via The Steeple Times, a prominent Northern businessman and racehorse owner offers a gift of £1 million to the Conservative Party.
Speaking exclusively, this nonagenarian landowner commented:
“Brexit is a disgrace and has caused chaos. It’s also created uncertainty for countless others, rich and poor. It is just a mess and Theresa May is incapable of guiding us going forward. She must resign.”
“Nobody wants Boris and nobody wants The Mogg. We certainly don’t need David ‘The Rottweiler’ and we don’t need Dr Fox. It’s time for something different.”
“The Conservative Party needs to return to its roots. We need a cross between Margaret Thatcher and Kenneth Clarke and I’m prepared to pay to get that elected.”
