Rename it “Paedo Street”

A fourth ‘Coronation Street’ star stands accused of abuse

The ITV soap Coronation Street was first broadcast in 1960. It was meant to be representative of the lives of ordinary people.

Now, with the Daily Mail revealing that a fourth cast member has been accused of “very inappropriate behaviour towards a girl”, the Rovers Return Inn frankly instead looks like a pit of epic disgustingness.

For a small street, the soap “Coronation Street” now has more of its actors on sexually related abuse charges than any other street in England

Actors Michael Le Vell (AKA Kevin Webster), William Roache (AKA Ken Barlow) and Andrew Lancel (AKA Frank Foster) all await trial in relation to sexual offences charges.

Whoever the next “household name” is and whether or not he and the previously mentioned are innocent or guilty, it’s just frankly time to rename the Rovers the “Rogering Return” and Coronation Street itself “Paedo Street”.
