Picture of the Week: Splitting the vote

Splitting the vote

Conservative candidate’s offices sabotaged by neighbour’s Labour posters

Oliver Colvile, the Conservative candidate for Plymouth, Sutton and Devenport, promises “a better, more secure future” in the window of his campaign headquarters in Devon. His neighbour in the flat above plainly thinks to the contrary and has placed four “Vote Labour” posters in his windows.

Conservative candidate Oliver Colvile’s neighbours would rather the public vote Labour on 7th May

Our Picture of the Week, first published by The Mirror, shows Colvile’s rather grotty looking offices and the flat above. It rather sums up the dilemma facing the people of Britain currently and though Colvile could do with smartening up his premises, we know who we’d rather see elected on 7th May. The Steeple Times joins with those urging the nation to vote Conservative.
