Harassing Harrods

Assange takes on Harrods

Revelations that the biopic based upon his life, The Fifth Estate, has flopped at the box office and took just $6 million against a $28 million budget no doubt cheered Julian Assange’s spirits, but it seems matters closer to “home” have been troubling his sleeping pattern.

Julian Assange’s sleeping patterns at the Ecuadorian Embassy (left) have allegedly been disturbed by deliveries to Harrods (right)

A source in the vicinity of “our man in the embassy” informed The Steeple Times yesterday that Assange has been complaining about the noise of delivery vehicles arriving at Harrods in the early hours of the morning. The Wikileaks founder is said to have “arrogantly demanded” that vans come at a more sociable hour. Thus far, such requests, we’re reliably told, have been ignored.

Plainly there’ll be no hamper exchange between Mr Assange and the owners of Harrods, the Qatar Investment Authority, this Christmas.
