The multiplying factor

Christie’s annual Multiplied fair is well worth a visit

October is the month when London’s art event calendar is busiest and aside from Frieze in Regent’s Park and PAD in Berkeley Square, there is also Multiplied at Christie’s in South Kensington.

This annual event – now in its fifth “instalment” – showcases an affordable array of contemporary prints and editions including works by artists ranging from Damien Hirst to Cornelia Parker and Rachel Whiteread.

At 12pm today, Saturday 18th October, Sir Peter Blake will be interviewed by the critic and broadcaster Alastair Sooke and at 2pm today and 2pm tomorrow, there will also be showcases of 3D printing by the University of the West of England’s Centre for Fine Print Research’s CFPR Editions.

Entry to Multiplied 2014 is free and the fair is open from 11am to 7pm today, from 11am to 6pm tomorrow and from 9am to 5pm on Monday.

Multiplied 2014, Christie’s, 85 Old Brompton Road, SW7 3LD.
