Petra Stunt flies in mature trees from Holland for the grounds of her new London mansion
The daughter of billionaire F1 mogul Bernie Ecclestone, Petra Stunt, is never one to do things by halves and in her alterations to the £70 million Sloane House in Old Church Street, Chelsea she’s certainly pulled the stops out.
Not content with pulling half of the Grade II listed property – formerly owned by Lord and Lady Bamford – down to make way for a new wing complete with a swimming pool and underground car park, this weekend Stunt took to “flying” mature trees from Holland over the top of the building to plant in the garden to the rear.
Stunt is said to have allocated some £25 million for the works at Sloane House. With the arrival of the Dutch trees, her budget has certainly gone sky high.
