As safe as Stockinger

Stockinger’s safes represent the most secure of investments

Masterpiece 2013 closes today. This impressive showcase is something that has been crammed to the brim with some of the finest works of art, design and antiques currently on the market, but given that many of these items are of immense value, they need to be protected. Priced at between approximately £30,000 and £105,000, Stockinger’s safes are not just fantastically engineered and extremely secure, they are also works of art in their own right. Partnerships with Bentley, Brabus and Bugatti are testament to the level of quality and attention to detail that is given to each hand crafted creation.

The firm, which was rescued from near bankruptcy by a former investment banker named Dominik von Ribbentrop in 2000, manufacture custom made safes using proven technology from Germany and Switzerland. A patented Stocktronic locking system is the main feature of each safe and options available to customers include watch winding mechanisms and bespoke jewellery trays.

Though partnerships are plainly key to Stockinger’s creations, unique designs are the firm’s forte. An example is a camouflaged limited edition safe that comes with 3 drawers in dark burr walnut and leather, an 8 watch winder for automatic watches and 3 customised trays. One was allegedly purchased as a gift to a senior Russian politician.

Another, exotically named the “Reptile”, features a 3.5 kilo bronze lizard on its handle that has been platinated with Rhodium whilst another, named the “Wild West”, features a bulls’ head handle in platinum and an interior with a wanted poster for Billy The Kid (“Wanted Dead or Alive”).

Stockinger is a company who plainly pride themselves on attention to detail. Their products, which have not yet been compromised, equally, are as safe as houses.
