A window to watch

Antiques dealer Apter-Fredericks’ Spring window is one to watch

Antique dealers are often thought of as fussy and a little fuddy-duddy. In their latest display, Apter-Fredericks on Fulham Road in Chelsea show themselves to be anything but.

Apter Fredericks are known for their innovative window displays
The displays attract a great deal of attention
Classic English furniture is cleverly mixed with modern installations
Spring is is the theme of this display
The firm has been trading for four generations

The firm – which is now run by the fourth generation of the founding family – is known for specialising in fine English furniture and currently has a rather impressive lion armchair once owned by the Marquis de Belbeuf amongst its stock.

Of the display, Guy Apter, a director of the firm commented:

“Apter-Fredericks are committed to presenting antiques in fresh ways. We have never had so many people stop, look and take photographs of our windows. What could possibly be better and more rewarding than inspiring a new generation to appreciate English furniture with a light hearted approach?”
