A gentleman’s godsend – The Independents Club pop-up

Matthew Steeples visits the gentleman’s godsend that is The Independents Club pop-up in Knightsbridge

On Saturday 26th September, Liam Reed of the London Bartenders Collective kindly invited The Steeple Times to a 6-day pop-up event where he served the finest Negronis known to man in the presence of a selection of menswear and accessory brands.

Showcasing six brands – Oppermann, Masel, Tom Smarte, Struthers, Hawkins & Shepherd and Calder – the pop-up is open daily from 2pm to 11pm and also features talks on craftsmanship and sartorial elegance for gents. It is the brainchild of Gregory Odia and of it, he commented:

“The Independents Club is a sartorial retailer that hosts a select number of menswear clothiers. Each displays love and passion and creates amazing examples of real traditional craftsmanship”.

The Independents Club is at 19 Beauchamp Place, Knightsbridge until Wednesday 30th September.
