Too famous for the bus

Too famous for the bus - Sam Barton

“Britain’s vainest man” Sam Barton claims to be “too famous to catch public transport”

Scrounger Sam Barton – who famously once had plastic surgery on the NHS – has again found himself in hot water after being given an 18-month ban for drink driving. Outside the court, the 23-year old claimed he had tried to get off on the basis he was “too famous to catch public transport” but acknowledged that he had rightly failed in his request.

Arrested for driving the wrong way around a roundabout in Tamworth, Staffordshire on 10th July, bankrupt Barton, The Mirror reported, was locked up overnight and later described the evening as “the worse [sic] experience of [his] life”.

He later added: “They offered me curried Pot Noodle to eat. I asked them if I could order a takeaway and they refused. It was just horrible… I hadn’t got any wipes to take my make-up off and my collared shirt was so tight”.

“In the morning I asked if they would take me back to my car as I hadn’t got a clue where it was. They handed me a map. It took me ages to find it”.

In May, meanwhile, Barton caused further chaos after smashing up equipment in a beauty salon after being presented with a £3,000 bill. He later tweeted “are these people taking the piss?!” and though his agent, Barry Tomes claimed “Sam will be paying the amount in full… He had a mad moment. He acts like a 12-year old sometimes”, this ridiculous wannabe proved himself as nothing but what he truly is: A national embarrassment.
