Meet a Moron

moron

Marinka Smirnova illustrates that stereotypes sometimes can be spot on

We’re generally taught that stereotyping people is wrong but in the case of the former wife of a Russian oligarch, illustration is provided of someone who fulfils the role of a moron just perfectly.

Marinka Smirnova with “her friend” the actor Jonathan Rhys Meyers

In an interview with the strangely titled Super, Meet The Russians “star” Marinka Smirnova, the ex-wife of Timur Artemyev, the co-founder of the Russian mobile phone retailer Euroset, opted to speak about her wealth, her life in London and her spending habits.

In the feature, this blonde spendthrift laments that she is poor “compare[d] with the Arab sheik” yet boasts about spending £50,000 in one hit Harrods and states that “half a million” for a ring is “normal”. Smirnova continues by suggesting that she has “no servants” yet then refers to having “three or four” staff and adds that she “needs” a “huge mansion” in Chelsea. That this contradictory personality is plainly a little confused by the questions she has been is asked is not surprising but frankly that she is prepared to give such answers actually shows nothing other than her vulgarity.

“I’m not a dog to run around” is another of this woman’s bizarre comments. She may be right there but this ridiculous clotheshorse would do well to not give another interview. May Marinka Smirnova please remain silent in 2015.
