Christina Knudsen: “What’s on your mantelpiece?”

The Steeple Times asks co-founder of Ochun, a members’ club for single people, Christina Knudsen: “What’s on your mantelpiece?”

The Steeple Times shares “wit and wisdom”. What’s your guiding force?

My totally unrealistic dreams.

“Don’t get even, get medieval” is, in our humble opinion, a great motto. What’s yours?

“Is that it?”

Kerry Katona was considered unacceptable in 2007. Who or what is unacceptable in 2014?

Presidents on mopeds.

Tony Blair misses being Prime Minister. What do you miss most in your life?

Being in love.

What might you swap all your wealth for?

That the planet survives the human spirit.

Donald Trump was once a case of: “If you owe the bank a thousand, they close you down; but if you owe the bank a billion, you own the bank”. What’s your view on the banking crisis?

I am not interested. However, I am deeply concerned about Andrew Haldane’s comments regarding the trillion dollar asset management ‘run’ risk.

What phrase or word do you most loathe?

“Hun”, “babe” and “no”.

In the UK, some people consider charity to “begin at home”. What’s your view and what causes do you personally support?

Charity is a moral obligation and mine is UNICEF.

The judge in Law Abiding Citizen states: “I can pretty much do whatever I want” before being blown up whilst answering her mobile phone. What’s your view on the appropriate use of such devices?

No comment. I’m addicted to my phone.

If you could fill a carriage on The Orient Express, who would be your fellow passengers?

My family, my best friends, my animals and possibly the Queen and her dogs and horses.

If you were unfortunate enough to end up on death row, what would be your last meal and where would you eat it?

Beluga caviar with sour cream followed by Danish Christmas duck with red cabbage and caramelised potatoes. I’d eat it at my house in the countryside.

What time is it acceptable to consume the first drink of the day?

11.59am if you have slept.

A Negroni, a martini or a cup of tea?

A martini (even though I don’t really like them).

Whose parties do you enjoy the most and why?

My own because they are awesome.

Who is the most positive person you know?

Luca del Bono.

What’s your most guilty pleasure?

Instagramming selfies.

If a tattoo were to sum you up, what would it be of?

A heart with spikes on it.

If you were a car, what marque would you be?

Definitely a new 911 cabriolet for performance and the old one for style.

Cilla Black presented Surprise, Surprise. Tell us the most surprising thing about you.

That I have a job.

What’s currently sitting on your mantelpiece?

Lots of pictures of my dogs, horses and family and a Buddha head.
