The Steeple Times asks model Chantelle Pidgley: “What’s on your mantelpiece?”

The Steeple Times shares “wit and wisdom”. What’s your guiding force?

I grew up in the north of England as a child. The wit and wisdom of the fun and down to earth people from there guide me.

“Don’t get even, get medieval” is, in our humble opinion, a great motto. What’s yours?

“Live and let live” and “manners maketh man”.

Kerry Katona was considered unacceptable in 2007. Who or what is unacceptable in 2014?

UKIP. My mother supports them sadly.

Tony Blair misses being Prime Minister. What do you miss most in your life?

I miss my cats Billy and Coco when I’m travelling for work.

What might you swap all your wealth for?

To find a cure for cancer. My mum has just been diagnosed with kidney cancer.

Donald Trump was once a case of: “If you owe the bank a thousand, they close you down; but if you owe the bank a billion, you own the bank”. What’s your view on the banking crisis?

It’s a sham.

What phrase or word do you most loathe?

“I’ll do it later”. I find this attitude lazy and irritating.

In the UK, some people consider charity to “begin at home”. What’s your view and what causes do you personally support?

That was my great grandma Mary’s view. I support the idea of giving a little to all charities and not a lot to one and give to animal, teenage cancer and the Children’s Adventure Farm Trust (CAFT).

The judge in Law Abiding Citizen states: “I can pretty much do whatever I want” before being blown up whilst answering her mobile phone. What’s your view on the appropriate use of such devices?

Be careful where you use them.

If you could fill a carriage on The Orient Express, who would be your fellow passengers?

My mum, my sister Chloe, my brother Freddie, my grandma, my best friend Jade Farmiloe and ABBA to entertain us.

If you were unfortunate enough to end up on death row, what would be your last meal and where would you eat it?

A “slimming” jacket potato with caviar in Bali.

What time is it acceptable to consume the first drink of the day?

About 8pm: I’m not much of a drinker and if I drank any earlier, I’d be tipsy.

A Negroni, a martini or a cup of tea?

A martini.

Whose parties do you enjoy the most and why?

Those organised by London Village Kids (LVK) and Mason House Events. My mum also organises crazy birthday parties for both me and my brother.

Who is the most positive person you know?

My mum Denize.

What’s your most guilty pleasure?

Having a glass of red wine after a hard day’s work.

If a tattoo were to sum you up, what would it be of?

A Disney princess like Cinderella or Frozen.

If you were a car, what marque would you be?

A Maserati.

Cilla Black presented Surprise, Surprise. Tell us the most surprising thing about you.

I do a lot of fundraising work for the charity CAFT.

What’s currently sitting on your mantelpiece?

My guinea pig’s ashes, makeup brushes and, of course, a mirror.
