Video of the Week: Trump lauds the Clintons

Trump lauds the Clintons

Senator Ted Cruz shared a video montage in which Donald Trump lauds both Bill and Hillary Clinton on Sunday and in doing so makes a mockery of the King of the Combover (yet again)

On Sunday, Senator Ted Cruz took to Twitter to share a 1:10 minute YouTube video montage of clips of Donald Trump praising both Bill and Hillary Clinton. Whilst every busybody (and most especially that pointless specimen Piers Morgan) was getting hot under the collar about the parliamentary debate to ban The Donald from entering Britain, it is, in fact, this video that is relevant at this moment.

Trump lauds the Clintons – Not so old footage of Donald Trump praising Bill and Hillary Clinton has emerged on YouTube
Senator Ted Cruz took to Twitter to suggest Donald Trump is nothing but a closet Democrat and also shared footage of Trump lauding the Clintons

In complete contradiction to his more recent remarks, Clinton is shown speaking with Greta van Susteren of Fox News on an undisclosed date. He stated:

“Hillary Clinton, I think, is a terrific woman. And I’m a little biased because I’ve known her for years. I live in New York and she lives in New York and I’ve known her and her husband for years. And I really like them both a lot”.

“And I think she works really hard. And I think she’s given an agenda and again, it’s not all of hers. I think she really works hard. I think she does a good job. And I like her… I just like her. I like her. I like her and I like her husband”.

In a further separate clip, taken from something called Live Leak, he continued in the same vein:

“I know her very well and I know her husband very well and I like them both. And they are just really terrific people. I like them both very much but I think you’ll be looking at the record of Hillary Clinton and how did she do as Secretary of State. And probably above and beyond everybody else”.

“I don’t know about Benghazi. It doesn’t seem to have resonated like perhaps it should have and I think a lot of people when they’re looking at Hillary’s record as Secretary of State and she will be defending that record and I’m sure she’ll do a good job of defending it”.

Senator Cruz is quite right to share these clips. Of course, anyone has the right to change their mind but in this particular about-turn, Trump – who even invited Bill and Hillary Clinton to his 2005 nuptials – has again shown he’ll swing with the wind. He is not a fit man to be leader of the Republican Party and he most certainly is not fit to be President of the United States of America and Leader of the Free World.
